THANK YOU! You're review of QIHM was spot on and I totally agree with everything. The amount fangirls for this drama is just getting to be ridiculous. (ie: the war on that page)

Romance was perfect and the kissing...so genuine. The history unclear. The fantasy confusing. The ending illogical. Oh the flaws for it are never ending and yet it still it makes it's way to the top. I mean, I watched it after you (and along with many others) suggested it to me and I told you honestly that I wasn't really feeling it. The story doesn't even pick up until episode 8 and SHOULD have ended at episode 12. So that makes only 5 episodes out of 14 that was truly entertaining. I'm sorry, but that's just sad. :(

Even now, as I keep telling myself to respect and understand other people's opinion...it still boggles my mind how this thing can be so popular.

Alrighty....and so ends my QIHM rant. I apologize.

Strange...and just weird...

In the beginning though, I was so intrigued. An assassin with a serious and awkward side plus a suicidal woman...it all just fascinated me and I was thinking, "Yes! This is going to be so brilliantly written. So beautifully portrayed." But then I find out the reason WHY she was suicidal and my interest slowly plummeted. You see, I didn't read the synopsis as well as I should have beforehand, so you can imagine my disappointment and surprise when she said she wanted kill herself b/c she was dumped. Good grief. It would have been so much more enthralling if it was a dark secret. Much more deep and sinister. Something she doesn't reveal until the end. But hey, whatever.
With that part aside, I thought the acting was superb and there were some simple moments that I thought were just beautiful and metaphorical in a way. But by the end of it all, it was just weird.

Lol those three women are actually all her. I guess maybe she was trying to reflect her multiple personalities??? Whatever...I don't know, nor do I care. I seriously don't know why I kept going with that mess.
Haha yes, I definitely question his acting abilities as well, after this nightmare. I mean, I've never seen him in anything else. Hmmm..makes me want to go check out that X-Men movie now. :P

His hottness was like the lifeboat that kept this movie from drowning and I know I may sound shallow for saying that, but it's the truth. You're right. He is WAY too perfect for a man. He looks so damn good in every single scene, to the point where it's just ridiculous! Like c'mon man...go be hot somewhere else... :PPP

Well, to return the favor of saving me from a bad drama, I'd like to do the same. Avoid Seducing Mr. Perfect. Just finished it last night and would REALLY like those two hours of my life back. Daniel Henney is an absolute stud but even he couldn't persuade me enough to like it. It was such a failure. I gave it a 5 to be kind...Don't even get me started on the female lead....I don't think I've ever encountered such a pathetically annoying, classless, "business" woman (in a drama) in my entire life.

Haha I have to admit the first hour I was so distracted from the story and it was all because of Mason. I was so worried about the baby's welfare (with all that roughness and running around and yelling) that it really prevented me from concentrating on the story. BUT! Then the last half hour was GREAT. I love the message behind this whole movie. It was really heartwarming. :3

That scene at the end(at the airport) where Mason was reaching for his daddy. Omg...it killed me. :')

Yeah, he's really such a great actor. :)

After K2H I'm POSITIVE he'll get even more lead roles. :D
And I shall watch them all! Lol.

For me...the thing with reviews is this: Before I joined MDL, it was actually FUN to watch a drama randomly with just the summary of it on your mind. Now, it's like a temptation to read those reviews and even though I deny it, I still think reviews sway me back and forth, for or against the drama. I don't like that. So lately, I've stopped with reading what other's think about it. B/c I've come across dramas that I liked and others hated..so yeah.

Lol me too. His cheekbones really stand out. :P I love his quirkiness. But I didn't really think that whole bit of him crying his eyes out for her to come back in air port was really necessary.

Yeah, Skip Beat's on my list but I was always hesitant b/c of Siwo. Like you, I didn't think he'd be able to pull it off. Buuuut, if you say he's good then I shall trust you. :D

Yeah, he has this charm about him that I can't explain and it usually comes out in his acting. Hehe. Also, the chemistry between him and Ha Ji Won was just amazing right? I still can't get over that. What they portrayed was the perfect example of a romantic couple. >.<

Lee Min Ki~ Yes, it's my first time seeing him haha. Do you know any other good dramas or movies he's in? He's so handsome. ^.^

I've heard good reviews from TPM. I've never really watched any period dramas besides Queen In Hyun's Man....

I LOVE him! He's just so cuuuuuute! Haha ever since I saw him in King2Hearts, I've been crushing on him BIG TIME. Which is why I watched Gumiho....and I'm planning on watching Shining Inheritance. All b/c of him. Hehehe. :3

YES! I love Nodame Cantabile! It's really cute and entertaining. It's the first J-drama I've ever watched, so it holds a special place in my heart. <3

I remember watching the last episode of K2H on viki and I randomly decided to read the comments, which I hardly ever do....and somebody said that they thought LSG & HJW had NO chemistry. WHHHHATT?! I was taken aback. Never had I wanted to destroy someone in cyberspace so badly.

Okay like seriously....are you blind?! O.o Oh and then I read further down and that same person said she skipped some parts because it was "boring". Huh.

Thank you! I try to be short, simple and to-the-point with reviews. I write them based on what "I" look for in reviews for dramas. I avoid giving bad reviews for bad dramas. I just don't agree with bashing a drama on a review, because I know there's SOMEONE out there who will love it, so yeah. Only happy reviews from me. :)

OMG! Like I told you, I REALLY want to watch Kim Sam Soon. I'm seriously considering just watching that instead of Big....trust me it's on my top priority list. :) But like you, I've been diving right into Korean movies since a couple of days ago. I'm on a roll haha. It's quite addicting. Of course I only have time for one movie a day but still, it's fun. For some reason I thought they'd be different and maybe more mature than dramas, but now I see they have so many varieties. :P

And you know how Indian/Bengali parents are about girls and long hair. "Men like long hair. You cut yours and no one will marry you." Yes. That is not an exaggeration. Lol but I've realized that it suits me best. :P

Yeah, I just always feel sad when the artist has to go with the company's decision instead of doing what they want to do. But eh... they knew that they were getting into once they signed in. Yeah, I wish they tried harder too, I mean it's a great name for a band and I bet more people would've looked into them more if SM just went one step further.

Argh...this stupid character limit drives me insane sometimes, I swear! >.<

Anywho...about the rain thing...Hahaha for a crazy second I was like, "Eh...maybe she didn't like my review."XDD *Cue laughter and applause*

Also another weird thing. Once it started to rain my mom was like, "Looks like a fox's wedding." I was like WHAT?! She said that there was a saying when she was younger that when it rained like that, that it was something about a fox getting married. WHAT THE?! Then I shrieked (in shock) at her about the story of Gumiho and she just shrugged it off, but still! WOW! The fact that they both reference a fox....weeeiiiiiirrdddd. Right? :D

Haha I think there's a certain level of craziness that we as drama lovers all share. Lol. For me it has to be one of those super suspenseful dramas (like K2H) or something super hilarious (like PTB) before I make any kind of reaction. Most of the time it's just giggling like a schoolgirl. Ugh I can't help it....and it freaks out my siblings all the time. LOL!

HAHAHA! That comment...wow. Yes that was pretty weird but eh...it's always nice to know there's always someone out there who can act as/more crazy than you! :P

On a totally random side note...DO YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TODAY?! Of course you don't hahaha....it RAINED on a perfectly good sunny day!!! Like seriously...here I was like an hour after writing my Gumiho review and it started pouring out of nowhere! I was like "OMG! It's fox rain! Poor Mio is sad!!" Ahh yes, No Min Woo. Not really a "fan", but he's an interesting dude with serious talent on the drums. I did my research on him after I finished Gumiho and found out he was in TRAX! It's unbelievable. Lol...

Also...I wished they stayed with the rock genre instead of catching kpop disease and going all pop(ish). On another note...it's VICTORIA! Haha I consider her to be one of the most beautiful kpop stars out there in more ways than one. :)
