Just re-read the ending of the novel it was adapted from (they changed a lot) just to remind myself that this is going to be a happy ending. So how would the Goddess of Xilan end up marrying the 2nd God of War? Would they be in procession and DFQC will intervene in the middle or the Goddess of Xilan suddenly remembers her Little Orchid days and stops before going thru the marriage?

It'll be such a surprise if this gets a 2nd season. The 1st season ending should be then a major cliffhanger or those two leads still kept apart from each other. I don't want to drag it. I'm happy with 1 season.

oh deym, wait another 4 days. hmm... kay. i guess that gives me time to finally go back to the very oh so slow pacing of Immortal Samsara that I'm actually watching it on speed 2.0-2.5. im telling you, everything else were ruined thanks to this wonderful drama.

looking forward to Love You Seven Times (another fave novel of mine) and Till the End of the Moon (just coz of they hype, I sincerely hope it doesn't become as slow as Immortal Samsara) for 2023 maybe? no more xianxa's to top this one for the upcoming ber months?

Been trying to catch up on this and even if I skip some scenes or just fast forward 2.0, there’s not much I’ve missed. They could have kept this shorter so people’s interest don’t wander. It’s a classic repetitive story with nothing new. This should have been released back in 2015 era and people would have been crazy for this. It’s 2022 now and we’ve seen this a dozen times sadly.
