I would have loved this if it was kept at 24 episodes. lol. The two are in love already at this time. I’m struggling to finish the rest already. It was very fun though.
I thought it was gonna be as boring as Ming Lan wherein I had to wait for 30 episodes for the story to get quicker BUT NOT in this!!! Guy fell love at first sight with her hand already from the very first episode! Also, I am loving the comedic antics here. Gives break to the usual family and military drama.
I'm in the middle of Part 1 and it's a very stressful cdrama for me. It's like they're all put inside a casserole with cold water and then the fire being turned on so they are doomed to boil and die anyway.
This drama is a perfect 10/10 for me. I was just smiling ear to ear while watching it! I can't believe I hesitated to watch this! The reason why I hesitated actually is because I thought the scenario seems so everywhere like there's the gaming aspect and then being an actress and then being an aerospace engineer. How likely is this story to happen to anyone in real life anyway?
But lo and behold, it was perfectly and seamlessly tied in together! I've never read the book but Gu Man is such a genius then to be able to put his/her shoes in different people's lives. Super plus points!
Yang Yang and Dilreba are uggghhh-mazing! I've first watched Yang Yang in the movie adaptation of TMOPB and he was so passe. Then, my next was Who Rules the World which he was good at. I was actually blown away with his performance here. His chemistry with Dilreba is so perfect. I've mostly watched Dilreba's in ancient chinese cdrama and her acting was somewhat repetitive like you know how'd she react (but then most ancient chinese cdramas have repetitive tropes). But here, she was just glorious! Her acting flows smoothly that I can't just say "oh, i expected that kind of look from her".
I don't know much about aerospace engineering so it was very refreshing to take a peek into their world. It's so techy though and can be boring that I had to forward Yang Yang's scenes when he is with his colleague. LOL. OOPS.
Love ette!!!!!!!!! Y'ALL SHOULD WATCH THIS!!!! It ain't a melodrama though. It's actually surprisingly realistic.
