I agree. If they have taken time to watch the episodes so far, they would have known (if not yet realised from the synopsis) that it was taken mostly from the guy's point of view. And since he was the "victim" of the situation, naturally he gets the most sympathy from the viewers and that makes Ji Hyo's character an unwilling villain. That's far from glorifying the affair. Sure they can say it justifies extramarital affairs but I think it's merely pointing out that no situation is black and white. Truth has many faces and the drama's just showing some of them.

Plus, the show's freaking funny despite the issue they're tackling.

Aoi Yu, Odagiri Joe, and Matsuda Shota. Can't get better than this.

I've heard a lot about this drama but was sorely disappointed to see that the leading lady is Park Shin Hye. I wonder if I should pursue this drama?

Indeed. But his intentions can be very different from his actions. He might be too hard on his son to prepare him for his future. But of course it's also possible that he is disappointed that his son can never compare to him. After all, the King is supposed to be a prodigy. We will never know. Still, it is very difficult for me to believe that a son like him who is very devoted to his mother can be cruel to his own son?

With their exceptional performance, I have to keep reminding myself that King Yeongjo portrayed here is different from the sweet devoted son and benevolent ruler King Yeongjo that is described by historians. And that Crown Prince Sado is supposed to be a victim of his carnal desires and lust for blood when he is so righteous here.

My friend and I watched this together and I asked if she enjoyed it once we finished it. She said she likes it but the ending felt incomplete. I thought the ending can not be more perfect.The way that Suji didn't spoke a word and just smiled. I thought it was more than enough to know that she's well and alive after what happened. After all to Suji words are overrated.

And indeed picture is worth a thousand words.

I hope my friends will put up with my craziness even after 25 years. That unlike in this movie, I won't have to reminisce the good days because I'm living in it.

I hate waiting for the next epsiode to come out. It kills all my excitement and I dont have the patience. I've tried it before and I have to drop the dramas because all my feels dissipated halfway through.

And yes I love it! The ending is satisfying and the actors are all awesome (although there are some characters whose existence is questionable but regardless! I still adore it)

Finally I'm done with Moon Embracing The Sun!!! I never thought I'll get to finish it but I did. Yay! How many weeks has it been? Or has it been a month now since I started it? Lol. Ah, there's just too many dramas too little time.

Aside from the continuous pouring rain, everything is good. I dont know if I should be thankful that my area was badly flooded that I got a reason not to go to work but Im happy I got a rest lol. How about you? Any news?

I love those dramas!! Except for the Cyrano one. I haven't seen the drama yet.
My simple mind can only handle one drama at a time. For now I'm enjoying Moon/Sun very much. If I could i'd watched it all day.

Yup. I'm loving Moon/Sun. Although I miss the kids who acted as the younger versions. I wish someone will make a separate drama with them as leads. :(
