Wahh, I really liked this. I wasn't sure about this one cos I didn't like age gap. If everyone was bit…
That's what I felt too when I finished the drama: that none of them is ahead of each other, no sense of superiority in their differing status. I'm glad it didn't made anyone a savior of sorts.
A little bit (no, in fact TOTALLY !) disappointed by the results. it makes me laugh, really! Apparently in MDL…
Exactly what I felt. I didn't want to belittle anyone's choice but if you only watched a drama or two, how could you participate in the poll and vote for "the best" when you have nothing to compare it against?
Are you all really complaining about the outcome of a MDL members poll? The way people are acting I had to make…
I find it weird though that there are a lot of noise about who should win what category. The loudest at the moment are complaints about DOTS but it still managed to win almost all categories. Must be the silent viewers eh?
this poll is biased towards dramas that have easily accessible subs and cliched dramas that are easier to watch…
Well, the problem of the poll is fundamental because it allows any member to cast a vote regardless if they watched all of the nominated dramas or not. But how can one vote for the best if they've seen only one or two of the list?
That said, it's best not to take the poll seriously or it'd break your heart :P
Although I get where you're coming from but, I guess, there's this element of trust and expectations among us, drama viewers, to suspend our own biases and vote for the BEST? Hence the heated response regarding the results so far. You got to admit, it is disappointing.
These polls are so biased to SH that they ignored the brilliance of Reply 1988, SFD, Signal, and Jealousy Incarnate.…
Although I don't see myself watching SH anytime soon (or DOTS for that matter), to each his own, I guess? I understand where you're coming from though.
I understand that others might feel frustrated, or even betrayed, about the movie leaving a lot of things unexplained (they even dare to give us an open ending!) but I do think that it is exactly what it's trying to say. To stop looking for reasons.
Not digging in deeper gives more rawness into it because ultimately, the universe doesn't always gives us the satisfaction of knowing why things happen. And loss, however we want to make sense of it, usually has no sense. We always indulge ourselves with answers to our whys but essentially we will never know. In the end, we just have to accept that things happen.
Despite the ending, I still feel somewhat hopeful. After all, didn't they agree to leave it to chance? So maybe they will ran into each other again.
I'm probably the only one who thinks this way, but I do feel bad for Sooyeon. She screwed up, big time. I…
Possibly. But you have to understand they were already in their 8 years of marriage and at that stage it's easy to forget that they were once a man and a woman. They also have a son so it's easy to fall on the role of a father and a mother. That's no fault of either party.
I agree though that it's possible Soo Yeon missed being a woman and being taken care of and he find that on the other guy. I also suspect that the wife of the other man got it precisely when she said that Soo Yeon was looking for a savior. In a way, that guy turned out to be her relief amidst her chaotic situation.

I think they will since there's really no way to lengthen the drama. I do hope they get it right though. And that's where I think the line will blur more. Because it's really easy to point Soo Yeon as the witch at the first few episodes because when it really comes down to it, she chose to cheat, but all relationships are complex and no human is innately evil.
I hope that Hyun Woo will realise that cheating is not the cause of their current situation but is the consequence of their already-crumbling marriage. It seemed like he puts her wife in a pedestal labeling her as the perfect one and refused to see any cracks. And that really put pressure to any other person. Although I don't blame him for refusing to listen to Soo Yeon, I hope he does soon and maybe, just maybe, save whatever is left from their marriage.
The random close ups of Do Hyun's face, shooting it from a random thing's point of view, is amazing. The shot of him, close enough to establish connection yet still detached from the camera's unusual angle, almost makes us an unwilling witness of his turmoil.
Wife's counterattack? Hahahahaha what right does she have for it wooowww This topic makes me so angry but…
That's exactly my reaction, too! I understand that she might be frustrated with her husband's sudden bursts but with what she have done, she should be more patient and understanding, not rebellious!! She was the one at fault after all. Made me so mad, smh. So good though.
But yes to Tokyo Ghoul and Gintama! I can't wait!!!
Still waiting for the day that they remake Cat Street, too.
That said, it's best not to take the poll seriously or it'd break your heart :P
Even over the Jap section, the romcoms are what occupies the top of the poll.
