Hyewon likes Jungwoo.. can someone tell me if they end up together and if not, does she end up sad?I'm on ep.2…
I'd say it's a neutral, open ending which does leave a some room for a potential second season IF they'd ever want to make one. (They get what they want by the end, so no, it's not unfinished or anything like that.) And no, they don't end up together, but that's not surprising. That's not what this drama is about, but they DO have a lot of scenes together (emotional ones too) and that pretty much makes up for it.
Experiments and genius kids? Just add some action-packed fight scenes and a big bucket of emotions to it and this whole drama could end up to be a side story for Awaken. Love it.
I’m on episode 12 and I’m losing interest because this doesn’t make sense to me. I can’t understand how…
My dude has DID (two or more personalities). The guy was beating him to keep him from changing to the evil one, but then it ended up coming out. So, like... that's not him, but his other personality. Idk how you missed that part, but I guess it's hard to pay attention sometimes.
Okay, I just watched the first episode. Please someone tell me the FL becomes less annoying as the story progresses.
I wasn't trying to be negative or anything like that. To be fair "annoying" might not be the correct word, but I do find her character childish. But then again I don't know how old she is here. I hope there is going to be some character development, or... she just grows up, lol.
I found out that Lee Chung Ah will be in part II and I was like Oh NO! I can't believe they chose her for the…
There's this unwritten rule most people like to stick to: Only criticize something if you can do it better. She's a great actress and I doubt you could do a better job than her. It's easy to spread hate when someone is hidden behind a screen anonymously.
When it was airing back at the end of 2020, one of the cast members were unfortunately part of a scandal. Whithout thinking, people online went crazy like usual and not only were they trashing on said person, but on the DRAMA TOO. Of course about a year later it turned out to be an empty accusation and with that, it turns out that person is INNOCENT (trying not to get too much into it, since it doesn't matter at this point, and it was really, really stupid smh).
The sad part is, even tho nobody did anything wrong, a year has passed by then and this drama never got the attention and love it deserves.
- Why is it getting attention now, after almost 3 years ?
It came to Netflix this year and people just started watching it, I guess. Yay!
Maybe you should do the same. It says "FEEL LIKE real people" & "COULD exist". Which means they are *not real* but COULD be, because they are *realistic*. Realism is literally a writing style.
Lol why is awaken topping the lists. Must be troll or bots.
It aired in 2020 but it came to Netflix like 3 months ago, so there's your answer. I personally am glad people are finally watching it. It's a great show.
For those who are wondering why it only has an 8.3 rating, I just read an older post relating to it.

I wasn't planning on watching My Dearest, but now I might. These two were so great in Awaken and I'd love to see that again. Can't wait!
- Why only 8.3 ?
