JGY and XY stole NMJ's body to turn him into a "living corpse" (like Weng Ning) because he'd make a powerful weapon. But because they were only able to make half of the Amulet they couldn't control the living corpse, so JGY told XY to kill NMJ's living corpse (via decapitation). he probably kept the head as a trophy or sentimental value, who knows lol.

hmm idk how I feel about the wrap up. I think HC needed to be killed by LHDJ to be satisfactory. I can't accept the writer allowing him to just "realize" he was wrong and it's all honky dory. Even Yuan Lang was finally killed Ruo Yu, LHDJ should've had his revenge too. 8/10 for me.

God of War and Mo Sha Star was originally 1 person from the "demon" clan they had no gender/or it was gender fluid, supposedly the most powerful being in the world. HC (fron heavenly clan) was friends with that person(demon clan), that person loved HC and was going to confess but when the demon clan and heavenly clan went to war, HC did something to that person and split them into two; one is GoW without any senses/female form and the other is MSS the embodiment of evil/male form. HC tricked GoW to fight for heavenly clan and destroyed demon clan. after the war GOW began to get her memories and tried to get revenge but got captured and sent down to human world to experience 10 life of trial/tribulations. essentially HC has been manipulative from the start for his own gains and continue to try to get XJ back to heaven so he can control her power. Siming is tripping if he thinks there's an actual love story, it ended with HC betrayed the "person" and split them into two for his own selfish gains.
