honestly wasn't expecting this to have as much heart as it did, i adore first and khao but the premise felt like it was going to be kinda silly, and while it did have it's silly moments, there was genuine emotion there too. the themes of grief and chosen family were everything to me and i could not have been happier with the way they handled it. also the amount of tears that last episode brought me was insane rip granny juu
didn't really like jiwon tbh but other than his character, it was alright. definitely not a favorite which was surprising given how much i enjoy sports bls
its alright, arashi was definitely the highlight for me. think it might have benefited from not trying to make everything identical to the original, especially with the shortened run time, made it feel a bit hollow in my opinion
i went into this expecting the worst from comments but i really liked rabin in the day i loved you so i figured i'd give it a shot. that being said, its really not that bad. the premise is typical and the acting is kind of weak but i do think the leads improve as the show goes on. not bad for their first lead roles, just needed a better script and maybe better direction. at the very least, it was entertaining. the worst part in my opinion really is the writing. it reads like a wattpad fanfiction, which is probably why everything feels so shallow.
a solid story with good acting and good writing, i really enjoyed it. also someone on yt said the OST is sung by AI and not an actual artist?? idk i've been trying so hard to find it but i've had no luck :(
