Lee Joon blew me away. It was rather unpolished in the beginning, but shown extremely good acting as it reaches midway. Binge wise, it's a good drama. An 8++ drama. Did I mention how pretty all the actresses look? So good
Both MC are really good, at first I thought it was a weird chemistry, but I was entertained. Supporting actors with MC was a nice touch. I am really looking forward for Henry to act as main with his accent. It felt fresh AF and I need more Korean-chaebol-drama like this.
Watching this in 2019, and had a great time with its magnificent humour and the chemistry of all the characters is top notch. Might be a little weird at times but definitely a good show.
This is a so-so drama. But some scenes are really strong. Like really damn good. But most of the time, it's mediocre at best. I felt MC need more exposure. Supporting actors and actress are the one carrying this drama big time.
It was SO PERFECT first 7 episodes. INTRIGUING, FUNNY, MAGNIFICENT even. But, I felt the chemistry and spark went south towards the end. Felt superficial even as MCs look awkward whenever they try to deliver heavy dialogue regarding each other's love. Not THE binge-watch drama, but surely superb drama to watch every week.
For real tho, she lived more than 1000 years, no dialogue regarding self love, self redemption, and ONLY revolve around fate destiny and deities. Towards the end felt like repetitive flashback.
The only reason I love Waikiki series is because Lee Yi Kyung. Charismatic, funny AF and can deliver sad scene. Wanna see him in bigger budget drama, with more sad scenes. He's more than capable. Even funny in reality show.
Plot holes everywhere. I want the male lead to become somewhat good, but bad writing ruined him. He can be the next eye candy, and wish for his career all the best. Chemistry was somewhat mild, despite I've seen both acting in different drama and really good. To think the edit and the camera work didn't work well for both their lead hence unable to bring the best chemistry together which is a shame.
I binge watched 8++ rating dramas (total of 4 dramas) whole week and this is a 9.0 drama (best one yet). Good comedy (all supporting actors are really good), OST kinda weak but magnificent during sad part.
Recommended for those who's in relationship (or old..ehem) because of all relatable scene from such perspective. Good writing and really enjoyable.
It's a lil bit draggy, and couple first episodes, the usage of flare was bit too much. Kinda picky so you gotta excuse my personal taste.
But, I'd say it really did set a high standard for dramas. Empowerment of female was really good at delivery, might felt a little pretentious but balanced characters both male and female, both likeable and hateful made the drama way logical as such; hence perfectly balance. Awesome cinematography with good usage of blur and symmetry. Though I do feel sometime the usage of blur was mindless at the beginning but it was very well polished towards the end.
Very impressed with OST, felt modern, stylish beat, good riff guitars, sometimes a tad too romantic. Characters were written nicely, consistent throughout. Chemistry between leads were on point and ending? A great one although some may argue.
One of a kind, I 'll give it a 9. But almost every episode felt too long (an hour 15 mins++) sometimes, but all is good. An 8.5 drama. Recommended.
THE FUCK is happening? This is really bad, I tried so hard to wrap around the logic of every scene, with it's draggy plot. Detective doesn't trust word of a child in an accident? While he's the only victim? Is every police officers in the series this useless? First couple of episodes, I thought I'd give it a chance. Memory loss? Losing power? Without any explanation? Comes and goes as plot wishes just to make it push through the end? Throwing comedic value into justice system just like that? It felt like storyboard made by a child. The writing was so bad. I love Lee Jong Suk, but this is bad.
Please kdrama lovers, stop worshipping actors and do give a good hard look to every series because every writers in Korean entertainment industry try to make good dramas and end up the good ones are under appreciated because we worship this kind of madness.
Of course, we might have different preferences in drama, but this is too much. 8.7? The hell?
I like the OST, there's riff guitar with catchy synthesiser, a hint of sci fi too. Good CGI first couple of episodes. Lost their footing near the end. But as for me, there are many layers of depth surrounding what kind of exposure embedded in every situation. The betrayal, the stupidity and the emotional what made us human.
But hats off to the actors in the series, because it delivers good dialogue effectively. Ending was a little disappointing, and felt a lil draggy.
Hi. I love korean and japanese dramas and I don't get sucked in into cuteness as much as I did before.
But this drama is pretty good that-it's-rating-8.8 is disgustingly an understatement. I don't have any bias actor nor actress over this drama. But this drama is a gem.
I won't spoil it for you, but I'd say this. It's written well where it has all the quirk of comedy, the depth of character values carried by menacingly fast yet good pace for every single episodes.
I was so impressed how the production handle the necessity of a certain tone in a scene and surprise with another gem. Again. And again.
A good 8 drama.

Binge-worthy. Ja ne
