I'm so confused by the comments. Is this a BL or not and why? 🙃 Can anyone compare it to some other shows to…
it's a series about gay's life in Japan - the difficulties and how different people choose to deal with them. the vibes are very wholsome but chaotic (great found family trope) and the cast is great. it's not your typical bl (I don't consider this as one) but there is a gay couple in the middle. personally I adore this drama and how it feels slightly educational for us outsiders that don't really know this 'world'. can't think of a good comparision but can reccomend you watch the first ep and decide for youself (just finished it so it's still fresh in my mind and I loved every second~)
I feel bad for giving it only 7.5 but as I watched it after reading half through the manga I really feel they picked all the wrong spots to delve into. there is so much more background and feelings and conflict then they show in the movie that first of all - why a movie? why not a series? give us some of the huge background of the characters (family, friends) instead of exes. it was good, but it laked so much in means of feelings and exploring those feelings and give the viewers a chance to feel with them. the scenes were cut short and the flashbacks was partly unnecessary (which is a shame because I love how it's done in the manga.) best thing I can say is I had so much fun watching it with friends, probably more than if I'd watched it alone. it's a nice movie, but I think even watchers who didn't read the manga can feel something is missing.
it's going to take all of my willpower not watch it the moment it's released cause I have a watch-together the day after. no social media for me on Thursday 🫡
Finale:A lot of clunky writing and direction kept this from being an exceptional BL.Why do two Yakuza dudes, presumably…
Facts this show could be so much better but at the same time the amount of unrealistic-ness is actually what made me keep watching 'till the end. so bad it's good, something like that. (still, could be much better. the script and direction did it very bad...)
also, anyone knows where can I watch the censored version? one of the reasons I stopped is there were so many nc scenes and it was a bit too much for me :\
didn't watch until the end (I think I stopped at ep4) but here's my theory of what's going to happened (like the concept):
every time Great has the minutes episode another alternative timeline opens. like when at one point the brother was dead and then after he was alive apparently. like each time there's an opportunity to see what it could be like if things happened in a different way (like swinging doors.)
anyways, this is my theory as someone that only watched 4 episodes. I might be wrong, but if I'm right then maybe there's a chance for me to get back to this because it's a really interesting concept.
watched on a whim and it was better then expected? I mean, the summary made it look like a typical bl story but I loved the acting and the angst. also I get where min jun is coming from and his overall fear of opening up and let someone in. it's not an easy thing to do. but I felt so bad for jin hwan at some parts like 'ugh give him a rest don't you sea he's trying???' and that's where I knew this is a good one. I mean, I might forget all about it in a couple days but that's OK, more re-watch value XD the rating is too low though, it should be at least 7.9 :/
objectively speaking it was a good production with nice acting - rant ahead you can come at me, but that's just…
(espacially from the two psychos - sorry, it is what it is.) and I'm glad they did't let him to end up with su hyeon caus then I'd given it a very solid 1. but he ended up with the healthy one, so 3 it is. I'm probably at loss here but yeah... Not my cup of tea watching a very much toxic love triangle which is'n even considered 'love' for me but obssesion. Watched it cause my instagram was full of reals and finished to make sure they were all made by a romantisation minds and not because that was how things realy were.

you can come at me, but that's just my opinion (at least the acting was good, and they called the ambulance :)
Loved (still love) your role in The Eighth Sense~
