I think he had a stroke. he walked with a hemiplegic gait pattern. he couldn't sit comfortably on the floor as he used to. when he wrote a note to Mr. Goo his handwriting was clattered like kids writing, can not move one of his hands. that's why he needs someone to take care of him 24 hours. considering remarriage, I think is the wisest choice to survive for a paralyzed person.

the years have been hard on him too :(

I agree with you. I think it starts pretty well but it's lost the point of the story halfway through. I could not finish it without skipping some scenes in the second half.

I like the idea of aging and hoped this drama will be focused on that concept, but seriously the screens between the old Hye Ja and the Joon Ha makes me feel like it's forced and not reasonable.
in addition, I don't like the sudden trans between the sad \ comedy scenes.

all of this makes me more confused about how I feel about this drama. I felt bored but still has the curiosity to know what next.
