Yining misunderstood him. There is a scene where she fell to the water from cliff and almost die. She thought LJX is the one who ordered assassin to kill her, she was misled by Song Ziyun. This was explained in early eps where SZY told Yining that it was ordered by LJX and eps 24 where LJX found out that SZY the one who pushed Yining from the cliff.
