love love the novel and so far for me, I love the drama! a fan of both so was super excited when I found out YY & 88 is going to be Yu Tu & JingJing respectively and they really brought the characters to life. the editing and production-wise is just awesome, makes me want to go to Shanghai now lol. the gaming part is done well where it feels like it's part of the story rather than the main component - just enough but not too much - just like the novel. the sub-characters surrounding the main leads bring another perspective of the main leads' lives. they do have a lot of well-known actors/actresses for the support & guest roles. in conclusion, I am lovin' it! Yes my only complaint is also the episodes are just 35 mins. Wonder if that's how they ended up stretching the episodes.
side note: sorry just want to say that IMHO, a lot of ppl kept on thinking that YAMG is similar to other gaming cos the boy meets the girl cause of gaming? it's just a small part of the drama. not all dramas that has a touch of gaming is an e-sports drama. what I want to say is that, watch on, you will find it's different than the initial thought.
please i just finished watching all 8 episodes and i cant get enough of yu tu and jingjing. it was well-directed…
same here! makes me so happy. i don't mind small changes or add ons but i do hope it continues stay true to the novel. the two of them are so cute together. its like seeing yu tu & qiao jing jing literally coming to life. can't wait for tomorrow.
