Since we've got some signs that Lee Yeong Joon is actually the boy who was kidnapped all those years ago, I'm just gonna get this out of the way: why can't we ever establish a relationship without the protagonists being childhood friends, or separated at birth, or long lost lovers, or anything of the sort?? Kdramaland strikes again~
It didn't, unfortunately, because apparently the channel aired a news report about the Trump - Kim summit. (So…
I know right?! I'll probably just rewatch the last episode... once more xD
As a sidenote, instead of today's episode you can watch a variety show episode that recently aired - it's for the drama's promotion, with both Go Ah Ra and L in it :)
Why is episode 7 in none of the usual drama watching sites? Not even raw! I'm quite sure it aired.... Didn't it?
It didn't, unfortunately, because apparently the channel aired a news report about the Trump - Kim summit. (So we have to wait until tomorrow to get our fix!)
Do we know for sure that Asimov's Laws are in state here? Just wondering how that would work out, considering…
I see, any scenario would be interesting in this situation! At least I hope they keep it real with the sci fi side of it all - or as real as possible, in any case.
The first four episodes (or two, depending on where you watch it) covered a lot of territory and ticked a lot…
Do we know for sure that Asimov's Laws are in state here? Just wondering how that would work out, considering that according to the 2nd Law Nam Shin III's enemies could "order" him around and he'd follow suit - unless, of course, that wouldn't involve harming other humans... Or is there a "setting" where he must first and foremost follow his mother and maker's advice? But I imagine that would seriously clash with any personal freedom he might acquire later on... Well, there are certainly many possibilities and lots of food for thought and discussion regarding AI, if they wanna go down that road!
For anyone who's interested, the piece Park Cha Oh Reum was playing on the library book club friendship night in ep. 6 is Maurice Ravel's Pavane pour une infante défunte, the piano version. It's also the piece Im Ba Reun keeps practising. As for the piece she plays while at the club during that flashback, it's Chopin's Nocturne op. 9 no. 2.
(Still looking for the last piece she was playing towards the end of ep. 6! If anyone knows about it, let me know.)
Here's the thing, this Movie was made specifically for the fans that read the webtoon, NOT the ones that ONLY…
Actually, the fact that it was supervised by the original creator doesn't mean that it can't be a flop, just saying. It wouldn't be the first time either.

forget the makeup, how about obliterating entire drama worth of unearthing corruption and misery that magically…
You're absolutely right. The 18th episode was already a let down for me, but by the time that "narration" started I was enraged. It felt like the whole quest for the truth and the people who sacrificed themselves for it were all in vain.
Someone did change it now lol I didn't think much of that synopsis at first but now I'm like wow whoever wrote…
Thank God it was changed! I think it might have been the channel's fault or something - maybe it was the plot summary they gave to all the sites like MDL and they wanted to pique the viewers' interest (they obviously didn't give it that much thought lol)
important news on the ending ;apparently the director went ahead and added the last 5+ minutes on the show himself…
Gee, if that's what happened, it explains a lot. I find it hard to believe that a writer who made such a complex storyline work would choose this cop-out ending.
The plot synopsis for the drama should be changed. It's not just spoilery - it gives away the very ending and it's a shame for those who haven't watched it yet.
Haha. Enpress Ki is my most favorite drama as of yet. Period. I love it so much and it is what I call precious.…
Thanks for taking the time to read my review! I agree that Empress Ki was by no means a bad kdrama and I can see why I could be labelled as too much of a nitpicker, but it's all a matter of perception and personal taste, in the end. I'm glad you enjoyed it so much and can also discuss it without bias.

Park Cha Oh Reum: Are you okay?
Jung Bo Wang: This desk was was bought with taxpayers' money, is it ok?!
this had me cackling
*watches the first episode* I REGRET EVERYTHING I SAID
