Okay cool! Definitely will have to add them to my to read list. It's funny when kids try to act tough when they're really not. Have you read Roald Dahls Biographies? Boy was hilarious, if you like his humor, and Flying Solo was pretty good too. You must join Goodreads! If you join pm me with your name & I'll add you. I haven't been on there in a while though -school really sucks my desire to read down fast and I still haven't recovered from this semester. My uncle sent me along the next book of the series he started me on and a book called The Green Rider, since he knows I like horses and fantasy/adventure books.
That's nice you can cook without a recipe. If there's limited ingredients and I've made it a couple times I can do okay, but if it's long with lots of steps -forget it! I had to look up how to make tamagoyaki this morning for breakfast even though I've made it 3ish times.

I'll definitely check out those autobiographies and I don't mind a little adult content/swearing -I just roll my eyes. You should join goodreads to keep track. It's like MDL for books and they have giveaways too, and as unlucky as I am I've actually won a couple. One I gave as a gift to my mom and the other I kept for myself. Right?! Food is outrageous. Cooking is a ton more enjoyable unstressed. I really have to be in the mood otherwise it can stress me out more and I have the memory of Dory with recipes -If I look at something wrong it tends to burn and I sometimes miss ingredients. :P
I don't know about being more coordinated -I had to go to special gym in grade school because I flinched and freaked when anything was thrown at me so I can totally relate. At least tennis balls don't hurt too bad!! I don't really like the sun either, but hey it's part of life.

I agree sometimes intros can be hard to write, but for me they kind of jump start my creativity -if that makes sense? I also agree YA romance tends to be a little repetitive, & while twilight wasn't a bad story I hated the extra unnecessary dialog. It's nice that you have a sis to sift through books for you -I have to find them myself, read reviews, or get reccs. Lately my uncle's been sending me books, which is awesome because I get surprise packages all the time. :D

It was a pleasure and thanks for joining us! :D Let me or deppy know when you're on and hopefully we can do a hangout again soon. I'm planning on starting cc soon -several people have recommended it to me, but don't spoil anything for me ;)

Yeah, I agree about the ending things -I always hated writing conclusion paragraphs for papers. For me I like historical fiction, fantasy, romance, comedy, & almost any genre except super scary stuff because I'm a chicken -I always seem to read YA fiction, since it's a lot cleaner (obviously for the most part) than some of the adult ones. Biographies I always find really interesting, but for some reason I rarely get them even though I like them. Any good ones you recommend?
Haha yeah, I'm not to good at cooking, but I have to make snacks & stuff for myself since gf food is expensive to buy. Not really crazy busy, since I only work 3-4 days per week atm & the other activities vary by the week.
Badminton is really fun! I dabble in tennis, volleyball, softball, horseback riding, and ultimate Frisbee. I'm Not highly coordinated, but hey they're fun! I guess I'm better at watching lol ;)

Haha yep! Good! You do sound really busy! How did you like the Harry potter books? I read several of them eons ago and I know I liked them. What type of books do you like to read? I assume fantasy based on your selection of Harry Potter. Have you read the Artemis Fowl series?
I've been trying to cook, reading, watching dramas/movies, hanging out/playing sports with friends, volunteering at a equine assisted therapy center, working on video portfolios and working.

Not actual lava mind you, but the reddish mud made it look like it. You definitely should see that one if you go to yellowstone again!
Sounds like you got quite the haul there ;) I love spending time and taking little day trips with friends.
I see! Being a good teacher is kind of an important detail you know.....
Anything new with you lately and how are you? I was getting a little worried that you got abducted by aliens or something creepy like that lol
Don't forget about LIFE's Manami -she's one manipulative B by acting nice to peoples' face and then nasty when noone's looking or behind their backs.

I can see how wind would make the blast go funky. My pics turned out wierd too because of the steam coming off from the warm water hitting the cooler air. I agree the mud pits were pretty neat too! Only this time of year they're more watery, so we didn't get to see the "oatmeal boiling" style mud. My favorite of the mud pots was the red spouter, which looked kind of like splashing lava. :D
Haha good! Lol friends have a way of doing that, but a trip to target, especially when they're not close by, are fun. We have one about a half an hour away, but we rarely get there. Did you get anything fun?
Very interesting, so it's essentially on how to manage a classroom of a certain age group and strategies to teach the children that may have challenges like language barriers and such?

That's good. Someone has to teach them :D I know I was sure interesting at that age. It was totally amazing :D We got to see old faithful go twice and a whole bunch of other neat things plus some animals. Plus we didn't get eaten by any bears on our camping trip in Yosemite -I was bad and took a granola bar to bed instead of putting it in the bear can ;)
What did you do in Iowa? One of my former co-workers and friends went to college in Iowa :) What's your paper on?

That's fine! Ooh that stinks about your laptop breaking. I've had some close calls from almost dropping my laptop ~oops! I'm glad they're behaving for you! My cousins said they were the worst age to teach. Yeah, hormonal changes definitely make things interesting....
I'm having a great time on my trip! SF was a really cool place, and we're seeing lots of neat sights too. We went to Yosemite and did an overnight hiking trip that was really neat ~The view off of the mountain was amazing! Then we drove to Cedar City UT yesterday and saw some neat mountains and things along the road. We're currently in WY and will be touring Yellowstone tomorrow! :D

Aw I'm glad to hear that. Whatever you probably don't teach 7th grade...all my cousins that are teachers said they're the worst grade to teach.
Cool! I like history when it's not in a textbook lol....Yeah, Today we're touring SF and checking out the sights :) I'm more of an indoor girl too, but I don't mind some hiking and camping either. Thanks me too!

No worries! I figured you were probably busy wrapping up the semester of school, and I was right. How's the teaching going so far? Ooh, I've never been to Washington, but I want to sometime -there's a lot of neat things to see out there. It must have been a family camp right? What did you guys do there. The great salt lake is pretty neat, I got to see it when my other uncle lived out there years ago. That's too bad you didn't get to stop at Mt. Rushmore, it's pretty cool & especially at night with the lights on it.
The trip itinerary so far is sight-seeing in SoCal after we fly in on Sat., Yosemite & do an overnight backpacking trip, Utah for more hiking/sight-seeing, Yellowstone WY, Custer SD, & then back to my grandparents in MN. I'm pretty stoked about it now that everything is pretty set :D

Yep! I might see if I can go with them when they go back sometime. That sounded like a fun trip other than not being able to sleep -I can't sleep in cars either, unless I'm super zonked & even then I get crabby first. :P We'll be staying in hotels, so it shouldn't be too bad. :) Any suggestions or ideas where to stop along the way? If I'm feeling better we may do an overnight hike/camp out at Yellowstone, and I've never been there either :)
Haha yep the back up dancers did some floor spins, turns, or whatever their called when they go on their hands and then kick around their legs at around the 5:00 mark. Not a full fledged one, but that's a little much for me to coordinate

I bet -I'd have a hard time choosing a favorite too! I've only been out of the country once to Canada, so I love hearing about other people's travels. One of my friends was adopted from Indo & her parents were missionaries there -they have lots of good stories. I'm super excited because in <2 weeks I'm going to Cali w/my dad & then driving cross country back to MN. :D
Not much you can do really & most of my brothers friends are mine too so I guess I'm just more used to guys. Lucky I just have 1 older brother! Plus in elementary school I was a huge flirt -my grandparents tried to set me up with a boy when I was in 2nd grade. We used to be pen pals, but we haven't talked in years. I do have friends that are girls, but I only really hang out & am close with a few of them.
The dance is really cool & didn't look all that hard until they started break dancing -the I was like :O maybe not lol

That is so cool! What was your favorite part of living there? That time my Grandparents had an extra contact case lying around & my dad had solution with him, so it could have been worse. It's not painful if you leave them in a long time...until you take them out because then your eyes just get kind of dry & sticky(?) -ick! I don't travel too much except to visit my grandparents & relatives over in MN, & random odd weekends away for conferences. How about you?
That's why I can talk easier with guys most of the time. The girls there wouldn't even talk to me :P You almost have to, in order to afford that many classes -I was too young & inexperienced to work the cost off then. You have a little sister? I wish I had a sister! Yeah, I'll have to keep looking and see what I can find for classes and then maybe I can reach my goal :D Que sera sera, I'll have to look into that one.

You lived in Japan? Cool! I always forget PJ's too or toothpaste! A couple of trips ago I left my contact lens case and solution at home. :P
Exactly, the powerful animals are the coolest, and I agree lions are rather meh in comparison with the other big cats.
Same for me with Ballet! I wish I hadn't had quit it when I did, but my parents couldn't afford to send me to a different dance school and the girls at my school were being really cliquey and catty. Yeah, point takes a lot of condition and I never made it there even though I wanted to.
I *try* dancing k-pop to the tuts I find on YT, but half the time I get the moves backwards or miss steps. -it's quite comical! I don't pick up fast on choreo either, but if it gets broken down well I can get it easier. I would dance with the ms's at the local dance studio, but the class times don't work for me and my work schedule. :(

Haha yep story of my life! Last weekend I was at a conference and I packed enough to last several days even though it was only overnight :O Yeah, it seems like you always forget or don't realize you need somethign until you get there :P
I think tigers are my fav. too, and white tigers are so gorgeous. I agree with you about the leopards and panthers too. Although there isn't really a big cat that I don't like.
Cool ballet and folk dancing is fun! Where you on pointe? :( I did tap and ballet fused with jazz/lyrical for several years, but I wasn't very good. Finding schools that take adult students or have times that work for your schedule is a pain isn't it?! So far my only options are 45 minutes away. I guess I'll stick to dancing to k-pop in the basement for now ;)

Okay, nice! Did you do ballet or a different type of dance? I've been itching lately to restart dancing after taking almost 9 years off. Of course I'm not the most graceful, balanced, or even coordinated, but hey it's fun! ;D
