i think these critiques are very valid and i agree, but as for the marble game and glass hopping, i thought the point could've been that the game umpires themselves were hypocritical and would bend the rules, while preaching equality and fairness (e.g persecuting the organ harvesters who dealt information with that doctor, all the while giving advantages to il nam).
definitely agree with the police guy plot, if he's alive, that would feel pretty cheap, but him being dead leaves me not feeling satiated. that whole brother sub-plot also felt a little soap drama-ish to me too tbh.
