i’m on holidays too !!!! but i have a part time job to fund for my hashimo spendings 😭😁 i always work with chae on the subs at night all the way till morning… but because i had back-to-back night shifts this week i was too exhausted 😭 i never felt so bummed

L2 is doing soooo well in japan and the tsuiraku team dotes on hashimo a lot (like no kidding lol even during the stage greeting for season 2, the director did a surprise speech and it was mostly dedicated to hashimo and how much the tsuiraku crew really loves him... he's so selfless to everyone to the point neglecting his own self that everyone were planning till night on how to repay his kindness)
plus lately hashimo been mentioning so many times that he wants to act in a movie... so i wouldn't be surprised if they did a movie continuation !!!!!!!

no problem!!! i also had the same problem and i gave up and just reread the manga from the start LOL i wrote down the chapters they adapted and the ones i want them too... and when i saw that they're adapt the bucket list chapter i screamed because i never expected they would do it!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
but me too... i love how they treat the adaptation with so much care and if you watch the drama while comparing the chapter side by side, you can see that they never change their lines and everything they said is word to word the same 🥺 even the camera work is the same composition as the manga wa... so much love is put into this
in season 1 bts while akari was shooting her scene hashimo danced to a hihi jets song to the taiyaki guy and asked if he knows hihi jets... and since then i always headcanon that hihi exists in their universe and haijin knows them- when i saw they made him wear roller skates in L2 it fuels my delusion even more LOOOOOL

but yeah lol i'm too deep in the ryo hashimoto hole... i was originally a big fan of the drama and nothing more, till i found out that he's actually an idol and since then my life is about him everyday (even went to japan for the first time for him 😭) as much as i hope people will be curious of him outside of tsuiraku, i'm glad everyone enjoyed his acting as haijin! he really cherish and love the role a lot T_T im glad his efforts and love for tsuiraku has reached to everybody
don't worry though, i totally get you on the research part! that's the fun of it (even though it's tedious work lol...) i don't do so much on that in tsuiraku since my friend gets the references but for hashimo's other drama, it has a lot of anime references so 90% of the time i'm just researching the animes mentioned to ensure the name is right and all that 😭 but it shows the effort and love u put in the subs as well as letting the viewers understand the context even more so that's all it matters! and the more research you do the more knowledgable you get in stuff like this~ we'll get better the more we sub!!

but i so agree with you, even when my friend and i aren't the first to pick it up, i love that the drama is so well-loved that everyone wants to contribute into it. to me, it's not a matter of who can sub it the fastest. my friend is knowledgeable in jp culture and slangs and is very particular abt it hence why we still keep them in (while providing meanings) but the fact that you offered to sub it in a simple manner where average viewers can understand is amazing too! thank you for your hard work!!!!!
