ohh it’s interesting because I interpreted it differently. I think they showed that because of everything the main lead has gone through he now thinks ten times before making any important life decisions. Because he knows that it’s just a single moment that decides your whole life from that point onwards. So he hesitated not because he likes the FL a little less or that he thinks she’s embarrassing/inferior in any way but he knows that once he goes in it means a totally different life and world for him. Although this is probably just my interpretation. This drama deals with things ambiguously and even when they tell us what the thought process behind each characters actions were I’m still left confused.

Agreed. For me although I understand them both I wish the girl acted less like a teenager and more like an adult. She has her own assumptions and prejudices about him and never gives him a chance to truly explain what he is thinking. That’s not how relationships work. But of course, if she does let him explain you and I won’t have a drama to watch.
