She only said that because she was jealous. It's her first time dating, I think that was implied when her parents were discussing her dating life.

Both of these characters are flawed, and that's what makes it sooo interesting to watch.
Minjae's problem is that he's too wish-washy. Makes complete sense as they have repeatedly emphasized that his character is insecure and an overthinker. He wants to be with Yujin, but he can already anticipate that things won't be easy. A thing I love about this character is that they haven't tried to show us that he's this incredibly strong person but instead is very sensitive at heart. He's clearly been hurt by people's words and actions regarding his disability before so he is incredibly insecure and protective of himself. He wants to date, but is also terrified of putting himself out there because most of these people are ableist as hell.

This is where Yujin comes in. She's bold and always does and says whatever she wants to do. No one can take that away from her. She has never dated before, and with Minjae, it was practically love at first sight (although it kinda fizzled out after the whole police station fiasco). But, she is attracted to this guy, so she will go after him. It's that simple to her. She has never considered his disability beyond themselves. She hasn't put any thought into what her parents said at the dinner table, about dating a guy with all four limbs intact, and she has never considered that her parents objecting to their relationship could literally destroy Minjae emotionally and mentally. Even her brother reminding her that her parents love her a lot was, in fact, him hinting to her that she should not date the wrong guy, but she didn't even pay attention.

She never sees the big picture, and always does whatever she feels like doing in the moment. This is why I think she is a little immature and maybe, maybe if they show us a break-up, it will be Yujin who will need a lot of growing up to do and be the changed person for their reunion.

But I wonder when things go south, will it be Minjae who gives up first or Yujin? Or will they both stick it out till the end? At the end of EP5 Minjae says that once he swallows something, he never spits it out and sees it through till the very end. Maybe that was foreshadowing that Yujin will be the one who backs out.

I love this director's work so much and I especially loved the scene between Yujin and her mom. There is no one who loves and supports Yujin more than her mother, they have made that clear since episode 1, yet Yujin said those harsh words to her. Such is life, you often take out your frustrations on people that love you most because you know they will love you no matter what. Very beautifully shown.

to be fair the first few episodes were really slow

Really impressed by Teshow's acting. I can feel everything he is feeling. His eyes have a little crazy in them so he ends up looking silly sometimes but very very solid stuff from him.

Woah, with a face card like that only having three dramas is criminal. Currently watching him in Be Passionately in Love and didn't even realize this was the same guy from The First Romance! He looks completely different but absolutely gorgeous in both of them. Looking forward to your future work!

Very interesting how in some scenes of Gelboy I felt like, wow this guy is so similar to thai actor JJ, the face, the expressions & overall acting. Turns out they're brothers.

He's really good looking but I need him (his hair, to be specific) to be styled better in his dramas. Like how do you cast a face like that and then sabotage him with those mid-ass hairstyles?

This drama hasn't aired yet but I'm predicting Hong Minki will make this drama go viral, or atleast HE will go pretty viral for his role in this...man looks stunning.
