Title SOTUS Spoiler
Great series. My only complaint is, it seemed that they were teasing the viewer about a possible love line between…
I actually don't mind that it was only hinted and discontinued, it was much more realistic this way instead of suddenly turning more and more characters homosexual, creating forced couples. It usually irritates me when BL stories do that just for the sake of the genre.

I... I watched the whole thing at once... stayed up all night and finished watching around 6 a.m. ...It's been a long time since something sucked me in to the point of making me pull an all-nighter, but with this series I just had to, it was THAT good. I'm really glad to find out that there will be a season 2, can't wait.

Title Cruel City
The beginning of this drama was very promising, it seemed to be something different since it had a lot of action…
I know, and I do take plots in k-dramas with a grain of salt, that's mandatory in the k-drama world. I don't drop any title whenever someone does sth I don't understand or wouldn't even think of doing. Like you said I would have to drop almost every single k-drama. But as I mentioned, this show seemed to me like it was supposed to be more realistic. Unfortunately, the straight-out strange behaviours and decisions of some characters were a tad too strong in this one, and thus made the whole thing ridiculous (again, in this particular case, it was supposed to be a more serious story, not a silly romantic comedy where characters' weirdness is encouraged to make the show more funny). That's just my opinion.

Title Cruel City
The beginning of this drama was very promising, it seemed to be something different since it had a lot of action and that more mature feeling to it than other dramas, not to mention it's gangs&underworld themed. But despite all that, somehow I found myself being tired of it really quickly... I just don't feel these characters, their behaviours and decisions are so out of place most of the time. I'm watching it and going like "who the hell would do that, seriously?!" every few minutes, especially during scenes with the main heroine or that detective guy. I feel like this was supposed to be a more realistic drama, but the characters and their actions.... I just don't buy any of it and thus am going to drop it at ep 10.

Oh i loved this drama it's one of my best, i loved dong soo and the actor did a very good job also i don't like…
I kinda agree about not understanding the 'Yoo Seung Ho hype', though I wouldn't go as far as saying he annoyed me. I just think that he could have done a better job of portraying his character, especially since he got much more scenes in which he could have shone than Ji Chang Wook did, which was weird enough seeing as JCW was the titular hero. Overall I think Yoo Seung Ho was just ok, Ji Chang Wook's role was somehow deprived of its impact by the writers (though he was still good with what he was given), Choi Min Soo was awesome, Jun Kwang Ryul was also very good, and I was impressed by the villain characters of Park Chul Min (In, the crazy guy who wouldn't die) and Lee Won Jong (minister of war). I also agree that the lead actress was pretty mediocre.
