Ding ye will like yingzi as we have seen in leaks him hugging her but yingzi just consider him as her idol, she admires him alot but no romantic feelings. Ding ye obviously won't be an obsessive or annoying lover for sure 😆

Regarding character development hmm less than 10 episodes are properly subbed and 13 episode in total - if you have good knowledge in Chinese or native , so idk why were you expecting any development so soon . Being in their 30's it's quite clear they mature unlike 17 when they were free, fearless , except yingzi all of them moved on atleast on surface which is sad

Re watching older episodes I wonder what exactly happened in past that yingzi while being drunk said - I hope you will forgive me too. There are lots of forecasting in this drama 😭
