Her historical dramas were always shot for long period of time , for ex immortal samsara- 180+ , Golden hairpin - 200 + but here due to covid restrictions Yangzi always take 2 months or at max - 3 months gap before entering new crew though it's not a proper break - adv , magazine etc
Finally lyf2 ended good riddance... Glad it was divided in seasons, second part was a mess with bad editing, direction and obviously favouritism for certain character by tong hua even adding scenes lol especially when xl character was watching over xy father and mother portrait lmao it was never mentioned in novel and the way they destroyed xl character literally turned a mighty and cold general into sappy and crying one, beside that wth was that xinyue responsible for jing death ? 🤣 like I really wanted to see more of mad cang Xuan, screenwriter ruined his character too. Well good thing were season 1 - masterpiece, great acting especially yangzi and zhang wanyi, and obviously yangzi getting nominated for Magnolia 🎉
Fandom nonsense has really affected my drama watching experience, yangzi deserves better fans, cent fanatics are worst lol because they feel they know better than the artists themselves 😂

After a long time I saw a good review about lyf on mdl otherwise it's just fight between jing and xl fans like who is the best lol while people do forget that story started basically due to xiaoyao and cang Xuan and the title is for them. Loved what you said in last paragraph!!!!
Lq drama with Joseph looks interesting, she is good actress however I do feel she needs to come out of the male dominated series even though she shines in that but still I feel her potential is not fully used by the writers be it jol or youth memories so it's underwhelming.
He is extremely talented and successful actor !!! , literally every work of him especially the recent one recieved both critical and commercial success. Few male actors did that in cent 😁

Don't think yangzi will work with same ml lead twice , dl and lx were exceptional because both were/ are close friends of her, she even recommend dl in aol . I think her next drama will be modern for which is strongly rumored and then again historical if the rumors are true they will start by dec /Jan . Personally not interested in tonghua drama I find her writing bit biased toward ml's, I wish to see yangzi working with authors who writes female characters beautifully like minglan, lltg etc. Xiaoyao/ wen xiaoliu is a very very complex characters and few international audiences understand her perspective 😅 beside mdl audiences are just .... When I see jol rating on par with yuzheng recent drama for me it's a joke. Anyways yangzi schedule is too hectic hope she gets some time to rest although I love the way she give all of her time to portray the characters so waiting for another iconic role - He Weifang
