Few months back I watched born to run I kinda find mch mother similar to mother of rou hua played by yang chaoyue however she was more manipulative and at one point tried to harm herself so that her daughter will go on blind dates !!!! BUT her character development later was good.

As I am re watching the banquet scene Really need to praise that confrontation between yangzi and he saifei what an incredible performance by both the actors. Even though i am fan of her works but I love it when I see my favourites acting skills get better and better with every drama. As an actor yangzi has matured alot. I am really looking forward to see flourished peony, golden hairpin and lost you forever.

Drama wasn't falsely promoted as romance genre, since the beginning team promoted it being focused on mom and daughter relationship . Even in actual novel ml doesn't have many scenes and came very late although xjl had lot more scenes in novel. What should matters the most is that yzm character is making impact with his presence and his nature can't be predicted at this moment which increases the interest idk why focus so much on screentime. Yzm father arc will come soon I believe

She is only seeing xjl and ignoring his family and yes she is wrong , mch too didn't told how many times xjl disappointed her so name calling is bit too much or maybe I am sensitive when it comes to motherly relationship. Mch mother will also learn and respect her wishes later isn't this drama all about this ?

despite the fact that mother can be too overbearing but calling her shameless ?? mch also wont tolerate !!mum isn't greedy for herself just want her daughter to have better life than her although the method is wrong. This drama is mainly about mother daughter relationship and how mum also understands huan later.

Sci fiction is very difficult subject matter to be adapted into drama, they can either do it very well or it can turned into mess. However if she joins the team must be really really strong from director to screenwriter as well as the casts
