just confusing and terrible
I absolutely adore Becky and her previous works, i have no complaints about her acting as Nanno, but it just didn't hit the same as before. The acting was great from everyone but the story just wasn't it.Each episode left me confused and bored. Half of the times i couldn't even understand why the characters deserved Nanno's punishment. For example the last episode.. The guy didn't even do anything wrong before Nanno came into the picture.
As for Sky, i really liked his character, but I feel like they could have done so much more with him. Really disappointed that they killed him off.
Overall this drama left me very confused and disappointed. I expected a lot more from it.

simply perfect in every way possible
after watching the first episode i wasn't sure if i would like it, but it quickly became my favorite BL.the story was perfectly paced, wasn't rushed at all. absolutely loved how if there was a problem the charachers immediately started working on resolving it. there wasn't any unnessesary drama, no toxicity, no fillings, just pure entertainment and enjoyment. all the couples had a healthy relationship, they were actually communicateing with each other, sharing their feelings, which is rare in BLs. it doesn't only revolve around romance. family and friendships play a huge role in the story. the show itself is really fluffy and cute, but can also be very serious and full of emotions.
the whole cast is amazing, but i really wanna praise Gemini and Fourth. they are both rookies but they honestly didn't seem like it. their chemistry was simply unmatchable. both of them made me feel so many emotions at once. really hope to see them as leads again in the future.
i also have to mention the OST. i have all of their songs in my playlist. they are genuinely top-tier.

a truly remarkable drama
[SMALL ROLES]Pursuit of Jade (PoJ) is one of the few dramas that makes you fall in love with not just the main characters but all the small roles that there are.
They gave every small character life, which made them real and very likeable. That's exactly the reason why this drama just feels like a breath of fresh air.
It's been a long while since a drama made me cry, but PoJ did the job for me. They made every death seem real, they made me mourn every single side character throughout the entire drama.
All the actors did an amazing job, every character came to life. I want to separately mention the child actors, they did remarkably. I have never felt so many emotions from such a young actors before.
[MAIN ROLES]
I don't even wanna get started on the insane face cards the main actors have, and their insane chemistry. It's truly one of a kind. This is my first drama of both the main actors and I'm truly impressed. They both made me fall in love with not just their characters but also themselves. I'm definitely watching all their previous dramas next.

Predictable, but other than that a pretty solid drama
The ending was pretty much what i expected from the very start of this drama. It was predictable but overall great. The actors did an amazing job, although i have my complaints about how scary FL looks in this drama. I get the korean beauty standards but this is just too much.The side characters were okay, they didn't have much personality, but some of them were likable, some of them i hated.
I could complain all day about the cops not doing their jobs properly and how they tried to victim blame until the end but i'm not gonna do that today.
Overall it was a solid drama, not the greatest but it definitely kept me waiting each after each episode.

Some people are not meant to be.. and that's totally okay
The first part of Still Shining pulls you into a beautiful first love and than crashes you heart with the harsh reality of real life.Both of the main leads did an amazing job portraying their charachers. The acting was truly phenomenal from both parts.
Both the ML and the FL had some questionable choices in this drama which made them feel real and made me really resonate with them. They both had their own struggles in life and they both made some mistakes.
But truly some people are just not meant to be together, no matter how much they love each other, their life just takes different paths and that's the sad reality of relationships.
