Do we know how many episodes are coming out today! I have signed up with VIP for Lusi again......wouldn't do it for any other Cdrama actor. Only go on Chinese sites for Lusi dramas, then unsubscibe when it ends.

Same here! I have never been able to watch a xanxia genre before but willing to sit through this for Lusi. I just wish to see her next projects without her having to put on a babyish voice.

The mention of Wang Lei seems random! He hasn't had a drama or film out for ages! He is 35 years old and perhaps a mature ML is required for the era, but it seems odd to me!

Agree. Both were elegant, understated and suited her petite figure, and she didn't have to struggle with puffy wide gowns, difficult to move in. I do wander if the 17th Dec event which is bigger, will see her in much more glamorous attire! But she has certainly found a style which delivers every single time.

Rumours on X are stating Dec 8th, but who knows! They seem to drop Cdramas out of the blue at present.

Yes same here! The producer is the same as WWTW which had very good CGI so that gives me hope the same values will be applied here. The publicity gearing up makes one think it may come out any time soon, though I would have preferred it to air early 24, so there was something to look forward to after the festive season, but hey ho! Once I know the date I will sign up to Tencent.

Agree! I have never experienced anything like the hatred and toxicity found in Cdrama land! It is very tiring.

Rumours on X that her next is going to be a modern, which doesn't take as long to air after filming, so could be out by end of 24! It is odd not to see any rumoured dramas next to her name above, but perhaps the best policy is not to say anything until she is ready to start filming, to avoid all the hate that comes with who her ML is going to be every time!

Seeing the reuters of Lusi, I am so excited about this drama, even just looking at her hair and clothes, as I love more historical stuff rather then fantasy wuxia which baffles me quite honestly!

I remember seeing a video on Youtube last year from a chinese cdrama blogger, who stated that when they are filming stuff at these massive film studios like Hengdian World Studios where TLOJ is being filmed, areas that are not in use by crews are open to the general public to look around, so they are like an amusement park . The public can wander around different sets, palaces etc and as a result can often see what is fiming on an adjacent set and take pictures. Hengdian has 30 outside filming sets and 130 indoor ones, so it is a massive site!

She is rumoured to be attending some of the upcoming award shows in December, so hopefully if true, she will be slaying in beautiful gowns then!

Well deserved, hope she wins something, if not for LLTG then one of the others as her acting is amazing!

Double female lead drama with Bai Lu would be AMAZING! They have been friends for some years, both bubbly, talented, can do comedy and serious stuff and give off similar vibe! It would be a massive hit with them in it!

I wasn't aware he said that as it didn't come up on my X feed, so apologise for defending him so robustly on what I thought he said! BUT I still believe that Lusi is a very wise, intuitive actress and she will have a great relationship and chemistry with LY, and that he truly admires her. Lets wait and see what comes out in the coming days!

He said he only got contact about the drama in September, fair enough, he is being honest, plus it has been known for months that casting a ML has been difficult because of the female centric story line and male egos! Then responding to complaints about the script not being up to scratch, not that anyone knows this is the case for real! He said he is in no position to be able to change the script, again being honest ! People have taken this as him saying the script is crap! He didn't say that.

I don't see it in any way as him throwing Lusi under the bus, he was just being straight forward.
I have every faith that Lusi will have read the script, and be sure that it is someone she can play to her excellent ability.

People take offence too easily. Lusi and LY will have a ball on the set when filming starts and will be working towards giving us an epic drama. LY has wanted to work with Lusi again for some years and they are good friends by all accounts, so I doubt he would want to upset her.

Use to play a game called Chinese whispers, where an original message would be passed along a line of people and by the end would end up as a totally different message, due to each person putting their own spin on it as it passed along. I never knew why it was called so until now!

I hope this is true regarding the ML's and Lusi's role, as what you say now makes sense to the storyline.
Her October itinerary is now out until the end of this month, and there is no drama filming on it, only brand work and variety filming. So looks like November would be the earliest start if it does go ahead!

The only rumour that has hacked me off so far and I hope is not true, is that it has been re written so the ML has a more prominenet role, and therefore it is not the female led role the original story had.
