I definitely agree! I mentioned at the first 6 episodes about ZSC in the novel and ZSC in the drama being a tad…
RJL just doesn't work as a traditional romantic lead whose main job is to woo the leading lady. He's best when his character has to focus on a more "serious" plot with a romantic subplot alongside it. That's why Under the Power and One and Only worked and this one kind of doesn't. Maybe it's because of his personal life or maybe it's just how he is as an actor, idk, who knows.
I actually think she knows about her past life, but C-Dramas are not allowed to explicitly portray reincarnation, so they're not going to put an emphasis on it because that's just asking for trouble. So her knowing ZSC got framed is one of those wink wink nudge nudge "she knows the true story because it's her past life" type of thing, just like her asking him about their shared past lives, her not liking certain color/her fave color, OaO flashbacks, etc.
If she didn't know about her past life than it's definitely a plot hole. 🤪
Ready for this drama to heal me after all of the ANGUISH and ANGST that I went through during watching One and Only (still a superb drama tho, highly recommended, 10/10, go watch it, etc)
