rip yijin's unconditional love
He loved her , adored her , respected her, admired her ,protected her, stood by her, and most of all supported her . his love for her picked him up from his worst and led him to become a better person . his love for her had become the support , the very driving force for his life . it showed him path when he was lost . it helped him keep it together when he was shattering , when he was falling apart , when he was at his worst . as he said she led him to good places .even if she wasnt his world, she played a very major part in his world . she showed him light when all he could see was darkness. she showed him hope . his love for her was indeed much beyond the romance . but what is not meant to be together is just not meant to be. if they had continued their relation , it would have just led into a even worse breakup .
i would say this was one of the best potrayals of NJH. the admiration and passion potrayed by him was brilliant . the way his slight glance towards her , felt so full emotions , no word . and as far as the breakup is concerned , it was indeed one of the best. the desperation in his eyes , words and the whole body language , aaah it was so well done . when he asks ' is this right for us to just end things' , and when he prepares for their hard but needed breakup , it was such memorable performance . the breakup scene had me saying ' baekdo it will be okay , it will get better' . i think the point where even yijin understands the importance of why they cant go on and the necessity of letting each other go was when he got to read heedo's diary . all those unsaid pain and regrets that were building up was striking him . both of them was having it hard . and even while having hard times its not that yijin didnt think of heedo , as we can see her photo on his NY bed side . It was that he didn't want his miseries to reach her.Was it right for him to do so ? its debatable .Alas they weren't just meant to be .
i simply love the way yijin was written . he was the epitome of emerging young adult .the way he was struggling, trying to understand ways of adult world . he fell , he stood up , he loved, he learnt to let go , moved on......and the end of the day life goes on and we live on with all the memories and lessons we learnt in life.
