On The Greatest Teacher Nov 14, 2025
im a sucker for this meddling teacher trope, but as i watched this it honestly reminded me why i wanted to be a teacher when i was studying for it 15yrs ago... pity that route never fulfilled itself to me, but man, after this it got me into the mood to rewatch Gokusen too 😂

ohmygod this kdrama is insufferable and so is the the whole cast dynamic lmaoo. Dropped it up to Ep6 (Netflix), MC is supposed to be the crop a la creme but shes so dumb as a prosecutor, the whole screaming/stubborn dynamic btwn F!MC and M!MC is infuriating and the cases are sub par as well. One of the weakest medical/law kdramas ive ever watched in a very VERY long time 😂💀💀💀

Title Study Group
It's like a cross between Crows Zero/Gokusen/Dragon Zakura and it is for real a decent watch if you have nothing else to do 😂 might pick up the webtoon actually now

No you are wrong. I've read it all.Season 2 is 74 chapters (85 if include side stories). It is way more than Season…
Hey, it's fine! I'm glad the drama is getting the attention it has, knowing that S2 webtoon is complete definitely makes the series have higher hopes for a s2 drama!

i didnt realise S2 was complete as I am reading via Webtoon which is the official site for the webtoons release in English. So forgive me if you are reading either in korean or via illegal scans!!

For anyone who wants a S2, unless u want og material then it wont happen if theyre gonna base this off the webtoon. S2 of the webtoon is not even 30 chapters in lol we'll be waiting a long while!! Go read it at Webtoon app if u want more 😂😂

Pls tell the webtoon ending. I was scared shitless he would die.
The end of S1 in the webtoon had Dr Baek and team go to Somalia to retrieve the captain, they managed to airbus him back to S.Korea whilst operating in the plane. Cont to operate with more drama once landed. Dr Baek also flips off reporters live on tv too lol The airbus was actually a free ride from the Black Wings rather than a rental since the boss owed Dr Baek many more things.

Dr Baek never got injured since the apt fire never happened (drama og) so Jae Won never operated solo (that was why i said Jae Won getting recognised in the kdrama was a very nice touch to end).

The Minister was actually introduced towards the end of S1 who decided to advocate for the Trauma Team (unlike the kdrama who advocated frm the beginning), and decided to utilise the team to advance his (yes the minister is a guy) cause. The higher ups who grounded the helis nearly lost their jobs.

When the captain recovered he decided to go into politics instead of back to the field. There were a few events that were omitted from the kdrama, but it didnt impact the story. It would have made it more dramatised tho (like more indepth story about the helipad contruction, residents living near the hospital annoyed at chopper noise etc)

S1 webtoon ends with the team going to New York for to further study and to retrieve more medical equipment which was hard to obtain in S.Korea.

S1 webtoon ended with 64 eps.
S2 webtoon ongoing with 8 ch out so far.

Just finished it and they changed the ending (eps 8) from webtoon version, but it honestly still works! and I loooooove how Jae Won finally got the recognition he deserved, it was so worth it haha

i donk think there will be a season 2 as this 8eps pretty sums up s1 of Trauma Center, but if they decide to do the NY arc that would also be nice. But imo, ending the show at 8 eps is still good.

Honestly im having a blast with this adaptation from the webtoon (just finished s1 of the webtoon too!), im very much impressed with how uncensored they do the medical stuff compared to other medical kdramas. Glad they kept the doctors potty mouth, that has always been his top tier trait 🤣💯
