It's just like a franchise. None of them are connected I'm pretty sure. It's a horror franchise. I haven't watched any of the other movies, but I have watched this. In my opinion I liked it. You can try it out though.

Rightt i absolutely hates that ending. What even was the point lol? I would've preferred the webtoon ending over whatever this was.. I genuinely thought it would be a better ending but i kept waiting for nothing 😔

Nothing really. He didn't have as much screentime in the webtoon as he did in the drama. The ending focuses more on Ajin, Jae o and Junseo.

The webtoon ending is way different but it's basically the same: Ajin gets away with everything she's done. But in the webtoon version the male leads dont die. Bith Kim Jae Oh and Yun Junseo are alive. The end plot is very different from this and it's not easy to explain.

They lowk already made Ajin a bit sympathetic 😭 In the webtoon, Ajin did NOT care about Grandma's death, but in the drama they made her be like "Omg it's all my fault". Like come on be fr she's not like that at all..

Also like is it just me or does Rena have some character development?? In the webtoon i genuinely hated her but here she's much smarter, she knows when to stop fucking around with Ajin. And I lowk ship her w Junseo. I hope she comes back, and if she does she doesn't mess w Ajin cuz lowk Junseo isnt gonna like that and Ajin ain't leaving her unscathed either.

Ajin lit thought she could use Dohyeok just like she used In-kang and Jung-ho, but oh girl where has that got you? Being monitored 24/7, your husband sending men to kill your friends, and sending in your old enemy who could potentially kill you?? She messed up big time.

One thing I forgot to say about In-kang is that he never hated Ajin in the first place. He was always welcoming and sweet to her, unlike the drama. And even he never suspected her of anything at all. Like he never caught on her plan...

I suggest u read the WEBTOON cuz they made quite a few changes in it.

As for Grandma:
Her death wasn't shown in the webtoon. Basically, Ajin meets up with Reporter Lim heeguk and makes a deal with him saying that she'll give him all the exclusive things on her and In-kang right, so that's what happens. They show news headlines like, "Ajin caught on a cute date with In-kang" or whatever.. but it's the end of the webtoon chapter/episode, so the last headline (very shocking at the time) is "In-kang's grandma passes away after accidentally slipping". Her death was never shown, it was just announced and that's how everyone knows.
Now, the way she acted was, very sweet, considerate. Actually she never even found out about Ajin's secret. And she knit Ajin a scarf (which In-kang used 😭). Overall she was a very good person.
