I think the leads had great chemistry - I guess I understand DMJ to behave so robotically because he is an alien who has lived for so long alone, and being with Song Yi does change him.
Always, starring So Ji Sub and Han Hyo Joo. A simple but really compelling story about two broken people finding each other and falling in love. Sizzling chemistry too.
And the ever popular A Moment to Remember, starring Jung Woo Sung and Son Ye Jin. I probably don't need to add much to this.
Great article :) I disagree about Min Joon Gook, though. I liked that they gave us the motivation for his dastardly…
Agree with both your points. I hate cartoon or paper villains the most - they're a way for writers to be lazy. The writer of I Hear Your Voice at least bothered to paint a back story for us.
I agree about the length of the show and how draggy it became, especially in the second half! So many scenes that were unnecessarily long such that they eventually became uninteresting. I feel that this love triangle is much less predictable than the one in 1997 and so I really enjoyed that aspect.
Cruel City started off so well, but I guess the writers didn't estimate well enough how much story they had to fill the number of episodes they were given. The show's strength lies in the characters.
This is a great feature! Encouraging legal consumption of Korean dramas. But it would be good to add a note on whether these legal sources are available outside the US.
I was disappointed that the writer didn't mention what is going on with him right now. It seems like he's been inactive on the T-drama scene for a long time now.
Well look, we all knew this was coming, it was just a matter of 'when'. I don't think the Korean public appreciates celebs getting special attention when they enlist, when civilian men themselves enlist with no fanfare. Celebs shouldn't receive such special treatment.
If I had to choose a legitimate list based on acting well: No one in this list even comes close. Actors 1. Choi…
What an awesome and accurate list. Actually I agree with Yoon Eun Hye's inclusion in the article, but her choices of dramas have just been really poor and the recent ones have all bombed - My Fair Lady, Lie To Me (terrible show I gave up on it), Mirae's Choice.
All Kim Sun Ah's characters...specially in My Lovely Sam Soon & Scent Of A Woman
In Scent of A Woman her character started off pretty strong, but I got really frustrated with her towards the end because of her stubbornness. That is not being a "strong" woman to me. I don't want to elaborate more otherwise it will become spoiler-y.
And the ever popular A Moment to Remember, starring Jung Woo Sung and Son Ye Jin. I probably don't need to add much to this.
Also, Gi Cheol provided much humour in Faith.
