Indeed it missed something. I felt it too rushed towards the end and the last ep did not have any ending. Why bring the "bad" guy in the last ep and finish it off like this...Maybe they want to make new season, but I think that if their execution was done well, the 12 eps would have been enough to finish it whitout rushing the last eps.

This was really sad. I wanted more of them, but apparently they decided to stick to the book. Eventhough in the book there were a few more things happening during the meeting with Gou Tu's father and they just skipped them...I actually expected at least one more scene with them at the end...but no...😭😭😭

True, but the romance in the last chapter actually fits the story very well, as the master has been too far from the thoughts of having a relationship for years. I liked it as it is, but is the change in the series is made well, then I will not complain 😆

I read it as well😅 Usually I read the novel/manga/manhwa after watching the series, but I was too intrigued by the story that I couldn't help myself 🤣
I hope that they do not do many changes. From the thriller I can tell that the romance part will be changed to be earlier than in the book, but hope that the the rest of the plot stays the same.
