What a mess of a show. The main couple is annoying . This show started well but now it's just a soapy mess because the leads act like teenagers. Also 0 chemistry between them. The only scenes I am looking forward to is Chef Jang x Ji wan romance, so unexpected but honestly love their dynamic, they should've been the main leads.
Ha Jong ho saying " I won't leave you out of my sight next time" while hugging Inkyung gave me the shivers. Why does it sound like he's saying "I should have expected your actions but I didn't, so next time I am gonna make sure you can't pull any tricks" I really am praying he's not a bad guy but I feel like he will be.
viewers here are really hating on SFL w/o knowing convo that happened b/w her and FL. You all gotta realize that…
thank you. The bandwagon hate is so sad to see. Like we all know this will most probably have a sad ending so what's the point of picking on the SFL. I find her character so interesting for a change
i feel like he agreed because he really wanted to get the transfer done but he didnt expect to fall in love with…
I'm really looking forward to how the characters gonna play out, hoping they keep her character true to herself and not go down the "Evil, falling for the main lead" trope
Probably a trigger for him because of how she acts as this “mighty protester” who is in fact actually just…
yup I agree with you! the argument from the other side is that the ML and FL deserve to be happy together and don't owe SR anything. But she too deserves to protect herself and her family and not get harassed by the ML's dad so her actions so far make sense to me
Probably a trigger for him because of how she acts as this “mighty protester” who is in fact actually just…
For sure, I agree she should have thanked the ML for playing along and she has the rich priviledged aura on her. But from the first 4 episodes, it's clear she's passionate about what she does and doesn't mean any harm. That's why i'm not understanding the hate towards soo ryun especially cause myung hee basically did it for the money so she benefitted and the male lead played along to his benefit too. So in that sense, they all had a part in it.
Probably a trigger for him because of how she acts as this “mighty protester” who is in fact actually just…
Yeah I see how it could be a trigger. But projecting on her who's trying to make sure her family isn't harmed by his father is a little harsh. Especially at this stage, she doesn't know Myung hee and Hee tae are a thing and is only trying to get married to protect her family. I get we all love the main leads ( I do too) and don't want love triangles or interruption in their relationship, but Soo Ryun isn't given the whole picture like we are
might be unpopular opinion but why is the ML so rude to soo ryun? Especially cause he went along with the lie and basically agreed to go on the blind date in exchange for his dad doing him a favor. I get soo ryun is building up to be a grey character but I find it realistic in the sense that she is the product of the environment she grew up in. People saying she's childish don't realize her entire family's future is on her shoulders? In terms of baggage, both females have different types of burdens which make this so interesting in terms of character development. I love the slow burn between ML and FL but at the same time, I feel like he portrays this happy character for her when in reality, he's not. I hope they don't make myung hee weak and push her as just the "lead's first love" type of character
This drama is not perfect ofcourse. That being said, I am currently obsessed with Vincenzo and have not been this hooked on a drama in a very long time. I am a sucker for thriller x slow burn romance combinations.
Everyone has the right to state their opinions, whether good or bad. But , saying things like "people only watch this cause of SJK". No one in their right mind would invest over 1.5 hours per episode for 20 episodes to watch a "boring" drama cause of one actor. If you are going to criticize the drama, do it in a way that makes sense. No need to mock other people to make your point. Also, it is completely valid that Vincenzo is not your cup of tea. In that case, just drop it, leave one comment here if you want to and just move on with your life. All I see are people that claim to "hate" the drama, yet are spending their time commenting and replying to people here every hour.
Okay this restaurant Mom always beating her son is not funny at all. I don’t know wtf is writer thinking but…
@scarlet It is literally the most typical way mothers discipline children in Asia. Please do some research before you decide to type away nonsense. Just in case, you need a reminder, it is a KOREAN drama. Korea is a country in Asia. Therefore, the dramas are based on ASIAN lifestyle
GIVE IT A TRY! If you're like me, you started episode 1 and 10 minutes into it, you dropped it. Trust me, I couldnt get through the first episode for the love of god. BUT BUT BUT I finally ran out of dramas to watch so I picked this up again and from the end of episode 4, the PLOT DEVELOPMENT is amazing. If you can just get through the first four episodes, I promise you the show is worth to continue. The characters are so refreshing ( this includes the mains and all the side characters )and they're doing a great job of developing the main plot at a steady pace
P.S The Female lead might be one of my favorite characters of all times hands down
what a gem of a series, this is what I expected from start-up and record of youth but they never reached that expectation. I really love the dynamic of the characters, they're so refreshing in the sense that it's realistic and no cliches
Might be unpopular opinion but seo In jae had the best character growth. She was so flawed yet so humane at the same time, I wish she gotten more spotlight
where can I watch episode 7 and 8 already? I tried the Seezn App but I don't understand a thing if some notification…
I found it on YouTube! You just need to type in the title in hangul and you should be able to find it! (I won't link it here cause I don't want it to get removed from YouTube)
watched till ep 8 and the leads have amazing chemistry. Honestly they should have just named this differently as there is no relation to the first season whatsoever. Im really enjoying it, the leads bickering is refreshing to watch and natural.
The series started out really well with interesting introductions to all the characters but since like episode 7, the plot has barely advanced. Compared to previous a-teen series and other series from Playlist, this show lacks relatability , which is one of the key elements to why the previous series were so popular. I feel a little disappointed with the recent episodes because I had such high expectation for the series.
