This is the sweetest thing I've ever watched

The first few episodes are a little rough (FL second-hand embarrassment) but after that, it's just so sweet. I can't stop admiring the cast; they face very real familial problems, but have the cutest friendships, and it truly feels like you're growing up with them. It's one of those shows where, when it ends, you feel super bittersweet—it's like letting go of your children you've watched grow up. I think I cried a total of at least 10 times throughout the show... not from sadness or grief but just pure emotion. Sometimes I'm crying just because it's so sweet? I don't even know why.
The soundtrack is so good too. Sometimes shows are ruined by mid soundtracks but the songs in this feel so youthful and nostalgic. They truly make you feel the way you should be feeling in the scenes.
Last but not least, the casting is so good. Every so often I'll just admire how good-looking the cast is when I'm watching the show. I'm almost mad that Zhang Lurang isn't real because of how perfect he is.
On top of everything, there are no bad misunderstandings, healthy relationships, and the second leads have a good story too.

Overall, the show fully conveys what it intends—pure, wholesome youth.
