American shows still do a lot of stereotyping. If a country that is diverse can't even refrain from it, I can't be that surprised when mostly homogeneous, Asian countries do it.
ep 7. wow...I'm completely horrified and broken at the same time. But not the result of something tasteless. It goes back to the initial question of if monsters are born or created. The two contrasting scenes I found to be so touching, I cried. Bravo to Moo-Yul for his choice. Yet for Jae-Kyu...really tragic what he saw himself turn into.
It's hard to explain what this drama means to me. This drama is about more than just its story line. It's beautiful deep down. It sometimes is painful...and you will shed many tears. But you will also find yourself laughing and cheering... falling in love with the characters. Even I found the politics boring...yet it was all worth it.
That was THE greatest reunion I've ever seen in Kdramaland.
Err, did I just wish for Gaksital 2? Hoho!
Made me smile. I'm still gushing over it...reliving it by reading comments like these.
And I also agree with the comment about being good at creating characters.
Joo Won becomes the characters he plays. I love all the effort he puts into his roles. All his fans are very proud of him. :)

thanks for the recommendation of Cruel City on the Bridal Mask page. I haven't seen in listed on dramabeans so knew nothing about it. Looks like it's really good so am excited to finally have a drama to watch.
"Me: 'He's no Joo Won.'" that's totally what I would do.
in those exact words.
