WHY????

What was that? HATED the ending which made no sense whatsoever. Although the first 24 episodes were done very well, this drama was one of the worst for losing its way towards the end. Did they fire all their writers during the last episodes and hire a new set of amateurs whose primary task was to write the poorest ending possible? After investing so many hours watching and then to be so sorely disappointed is almost criminal. The only thing going for those last episodes was the “happy” ending. Ugh. I feel betrayed. What a shame to care so little about your audience that you feel it is okay to serve them extreme disappointment with careless writing. This is one drama I will not recommend to anyone.

Story with Potential That Lets You Down

A drama centered around tea, especially for someone who loves tea, would ordinarily be a draw. Even a drama about strong women who run a tea business would be appealing. But the story had no real destination nor compelling plot as it meandered to its conclusion. Although the acting was good they had very little to work with and the characters felt shallow and one dimensional as the story progressed. They were either angry or not angry. It felt like a mish-mash of storylines squished together to make a drama. One of the main characters was thrown into jail so much times it became ridiculous. What was especially frustrating is one particular character never really got her just desserts due to the family she resided in. I usually love everything with Neo Hao but even he could not rescue this sorry story with far too many disagreeable characters. You suspect from the beginning who the ultimate bad guy would be so there was no mystery nor surprise ending. I rarely hate dramas but this one came very close. This was a drama where I wish I could redeem my 36 episodes of time I spent watching it. Skip it and watch something else.
