She tends to stick her nose in everything he does, it's frustrating sometime. He didn't tell you because it's dangerous, you don't know who you are dealing with, and she still blamed him. The ML's mother is so cringy. She abandoned her son, f@cked the enermy who framed and killed her husband for 20 years, accused her own son of harming her current "family" every time she heard of something he did (to clear his father's wrongly accused crime, which she never even thought of trying to do, leaving all impposible burden to her son, who was just a little kid). I know why she behaved that way, not saying she is a very bad person or something, but still, very cringy. She is a very poorly created character.

FL parents are also cringy. They demanded that their daughter quit her dream job (her passion, did a lot of valuable contributions at work, and is very respected by her colleagues). Why? Because the boss of the company had a dad who was (believed to be) the cause of an accident 20 years ago, which had nothing to do with ML. Can't you old people sacrifice your feelings just a little bit so your daughter is happy? Come on!

Why did the ML make the whole sleepwalking situation so awkward? It's so cringy every time he talks about it. It's almost like he is making fun of FL's condition.

OMG, then two eps later, both leads again believed and followed the same evil "friend" who showed jealousy and deceived them times before. I just can't. What kind of writing this this? Why is this hyped so much. Dropped.

I know it's for the plot, but the FL is the stupiest character I've ever watched. Her logic in ep26: I just realized my bad friend deceived me to come into a deadly trap, but I'm gonna follow what he's saying, and remove the anklet, which is the last defense device my lover gave me, nearly killing me and my lover in the process.

It was explained in the drama that they are allowed to bring in an assistant. All of the previous ones use assistants. She was just his assistant in the first two trials.

She wanted to kill him only, not other innocent people. The reason is pretty clear, she wanted to burry her secrete crime that will lead to her certain death if exposed. Burning his room is Chai Jing's impulsive decision. But the fire could have been easily put out like the little girl said later. His whole house was burnt down because he did that on purpose for his scheming.

Came here from Perfect Match. I'm so impressed with Lu Yu Xiao's performance. To play an autistic girl so naturally, what a spectacular performance, so underrated. Her character is so sweet. Her acting here reminds me of the extraordinary attorney Woo.

I know it's for the plot and for prolonging the drama, but it is so frustrating to see FL emotionally and mentally traumatize the ML repeatedly. Each time is the death of a person he truly loves, the FL is evil for causing all the traumas to ML. Why can't she just tell the ML the truth after 1-2 times. The writer thinks as long as it's not physical damage, everything is fine. But emotional and mental damages are sometimes worse. I felt so bad for the ML, I dropped it. And I agree with the other comment, they cast one of the most beautiful actresses to play a girl who is supposed to be ugly, it's confusing.

I read so many comments about s*xual assaults and r*pes in this drama. The emotional pain and triggers would be too much for me to start watching this. So please spoil me to make a decision to watch this or not. Did these s*xual assaults and r*pes actually happen in the drama or were they attempts?
