This movie was AMAZING. I honestly can never understand MyDramalist ratings. I've seen literal crap get >9.5. Why does this only have 7.5? That's a literal crime. The movie had amazing cast, amazing plot -- mellow, thoroughly thought through, adorable yet interesting -- what else do people even want? I just can't.
I tried to watch this drama before I was an EXO-L but didn't think it was my type. NOW WATCHING THIS AS AN EXO-L AND I AM IN HEAVEN! This drama was made for EXO-Ls I guess!
If you're in a mood to watch peaceful and relaxing dramas, then this is the drama to watch! I started it a while ago but I was seeking a different genre back then, so I had paused it. I came back to it again yesterday and I absolutely loved how peaceful and relaxing this drama was to watch. I'd give it a 10/10. I hope to find more dramas like this.

But I didn't expect that much angst in the later episodes though.. made me bawl. And we didn't even get more scenes of them being together & happy after all that angst we went through 😠GIVE ME MORE FLUFF IN THE END! I NEED ME MORE FLUFF! ðŸ˜
Ended up binge watching the show in one day! Both the leads have such likable personalities, and their friendship was so beautiful 🥰 Also male leads in J-dramas tend to be jackasses, but Oto (ML) was so refreshing. And Soramame (FL) was equally refreshing as well. I will most definitely rewatch!
My comments on the statements regarding how people didn't realize that the drama had a "thriller" aspect to it and if they're "blind".
To put it simply, people are not blind. It's just that the murder mystery part of the story is not great. We all knew who the perpetrator is from the very beginning and we're now just waiting for the characters to realize it. It's not adding anything exciting to the story.
Whereas, the romcom, and the serious school, student and family issues part of the drama is actually good. That's why people (at least I) wanted more of that.
I like the show though. I'm also glad the murder mystery part of it is small & they're now somehow trying to tie it into the student issues. I just hope they won't drag the mystery portion of it for too long because there's nothing mysterious about it. I rather want all the characters to get a proper meaningful ending.
Ep 14 was much better than eps 12-13, but I still think the thriller part ruined this drama. It should've stayed…

I hope they find time to give a proper/meaningful ending to all of the student characters and explain the unresolved plot holes thus far.
