This is my second time to watch, I still am discovering new things. The first time I watched I did not catch the fact that Zisheng's "mom" is not really crazy. She had to act like one because she could be killed knowing what really happened in Gu City and the fact that she kept on referring to Zisheng as the good for nothing male relative (his "dad") when he was described as looking like his "uncle." She wants to remind him always of their revenge. If she really was crazy then she would have referred to Zicheng as her gege. Note to self, I need to read the novel...

I agree! Their chemistry somehow spoiled me actually hoping to feel the same thing with XuKai's other FLs but I felt it only with Bai Lu. I dropped all the other dramas ( it's really tragic because I adore him so much 💓)
