I would say that there is but it’s more like with all the people he works with. So there are a lot of fun interactions there is not a specific bromance pairing. But towards the end you’ll see that some characters are there through a lot and they build really close bonds together

I love the sets, costumes, and have a lot of respect for Peking opera and the performers, but personally the music really just isn’t it for me

I haven’t started this yet since I’m bingeing The Justice first but I just want to say that the poster for this is one of the most beautiful things I’ve seen I’m literally going to print it and put it on my wall

This show is so good I am so invested in the plot and the characters and I’m not sure how I’ll be able to move on. I have ten episodes left and I can’t stop watching but I’m also dreading finishing because I know I will have a hard time finding another show I like as much as this

Ikr and it’s like ig she made some mistakes but she went through a lot too. Luckily Yizhi and Charlie were there for her and now she gets to be happier. Also side note but once they divorced it’s like the whole show changed like damn they really had a lot of growing to do

I recommend watching The Justice with Steven Zhang and Elvira Cai. I usually don’t watch Republic dramas but I have found every episode of it interesting so I’d personally say that’s a much better drama in terms of plot/acting and overall than this.

I would also love to hear who you would cast for Magnificent Century Kosem - personally I would like to see An Yue Xi as Anastasia/ Kosem due to her delicate feminine beauty and the wide sparkling eyes she has just like Beren Saar. She could play the younger Anastasia and Kosem instead of having to recast like they did in Magnificent century because she is ageless lol. For Ahmed I would cast Deng Lun or Yang Yang because he needs to be boyish and masculine at once and he needs to have a vulnerability that he shows Anastasia. Also Kira Shi would make an amazing Safiye Sultana

Wait so almost all of the original cast is gone? I was really looking forward to the continuation of the storylines from season 1… I don’t think I will watch this but I’ll wait until the new cast is announced to decide if one of my faves is in it I’ll give it a go
