one of the best fcking shit ive seen in my life
Agreed, and I desperately need more of such healing feel-good slice of life dramas with no unnecessary dramas
On On a Starry Night Jun 30, 2024
I started this because of good reviews but I went in with no expectations and didn't expect to fall in love with the characters or feel so emotional for them. I took a few months to complete the dramas as I took a few pauses between the episodes. This isn't one of those dramas that make me want to binge all the way. It has no unnecessary drama, just pure humanity. Maybe I'm a softie at heart but many moments in this drama touched me and I couldn't help but cry. No country does slice of life dramas as well as Japan and this drama proves it.

I was also blown away by Kitamura Takumi's natural portrayal of a mute character. It's interesting that I discovered Dish// and fell in love with the band, and shortly after I was surprised to spot Kitamura Takumi, who is the vocalist of the band, on the cover of this drama which led me to start watching after seeing the positive reviews as well. It's meant to be. Definitely give this drama a shot. OST is great as well.
