People say this drama is mentally exhausting and stressful and makes you feel angry (i've read that some people need to take small breaks during the eps because they go through so many emotions...) . Now the actors are getting hate because of what's happening in a fictional world... To me all of this means: 1) Great writing, 2) Top-notch acting. Please, a round of applause to everyone involved in this drama, this is a freaking masterpiece.
that first half was so confusing ( not that surprising as it involves different timelines). I can see Kim Eun Sook (screenwriter) taking this project as a challenge to get out of her comfort zone (not completely, tho) and prove the world that she not only can deliver quality romcoms/melodramas, but she's also a writer who can deliver stories with more depth. Looking forward to ep 2.
Man, the synopsis and even the trailer look generic af...but dammit, let's be honest, Jin Hyuk and Sung Woong hyunghim in the same OCN action drama? lol How can we not watch this? :D
Last time I saw Hee Ae-noona in a drama was 6years ago in Secret Love Affair...Boy that was a wild ride, oof!! one of the best makjang i've watched, and it was also about infidelity so, i'm pretty stoked to see her again in something similar (?)... Plus, a melodrama filled with infidelity, betrayal, maybe revenge and romance? from jtbc? count me the f*** in!!
My thoughts after 3 episodes: corny and a bit generic, overacting (not from the main cast), some things happen without a logical reason (just to move the plot forward), directing leaves a lot to be desired + post-production work is..not that good for OCN standards (transitions during scenes, camera angles, overly dramatic soundtrack, editing, etc). But i'll keep watching it. Why? 1) The main trio are doing a great job 2) Story has potential 3) Gotta support Jang Hyuk hyung-nim :P
I finished it a few days ago. This is definitely among the best OCN dramas, top 5 easily. Strongest points: 1) Directing, cinematography..pretty much the guys behind the camera were top-notch throughout the entire thing. Props to the Post-production crew, they did a 10/10 job with the ost, sfx, filters, etc. 2) Acting. A+++ in this regard to the main cast. Just outstanding. Weak points: why don't you watch it and find out? (: All in all, i don't usually rate dramas, but a 8.5 or 9 sounds about right.
Just finished it. I liked it, i was hooked since 1ep and I enjoyed it all the way to the end. IMO 'watcher' is not among the best from OCN, but it is definitely above average in the crime-suspense genre. Great plot, though sometimes a bit too complex (fine by me, but I could see some people not liking this type of plot). Directing was really good (as expected from the director of Stranger), and acting was top-notch thanks to the fantastic cast. Overall, pretty good drama, although it could've been better. I don't usually rate dramas but 7.5-8 seems more than fine to me.
Did at the end of the show we are saying that Do Chi Kwang cut fingers ?
Looking at the way this guy was walking, I think that was Park Shi Yeong (the guy who was released from jail). Remember he was talking to Do Chi Kwang who told Han Tae Joo to give them a few minutes to chat. That post-credit scene pretty much told us that Park Shi Yeong is the new Turtle following Do Chi Kwang's orders (to get rid of bad police officers)...At least that's the way i interpreted it.
why are Cho Yo Han's nails black ? isn't black nails a cancer symptom ?
i'm 99% sure it's only his middle finger nail that is black because of the constant tapping he does on the tables. He would do something about it (get treated) if it were serious (like an infection or something) but it looks like he doesn't care lol
Decent series up until ep 6. Great cinematography, great acting, some good directing here and there and an acceptable script...but the last episode, omg, what.a.disaster, one of the biggest trainwrecks I've seen in a long time. I think the 7-episode format hurt the series, 10 episodes would've been more than enough to wrap it up with an acceptable ending. I don't rate series, but if I were to rate this one, I'd give it a 5.5 or 6...Overall, If you enjoy OCN thriller series, you're gonna like this one.
This..the poster, the synopsis...it looks generic af, and is it just me or Uee seems to always play the same characther? anyways, I think this drama will depend on the chemistry of the leads, or if it manages to set apart from the usual rom-com formula, otherwise, it'll be a flop.
One of the best premieres so far. First episode was good, second was even better. The female lead is just pure awesomeness. She's fierce, savage and gets the job done. Btw, It's not her job to pity her clients, her job is to put the bad guys where they belong: jail, and she did it. But I guess those hating on her would rather see the good guy behind the bars and let the offender free? what about the next victim? Give me a break, this drama is as real as it can be, if you don't like it then go away and enjoy your fairy tales somewhere else (:
oh boy, that synopsis does sounds interesting. But the poster looks like it's going to be a generic rom-com? though i wouldn't mind having Jung Ryeo Won and Yoon Hyun Min in that genre.
Same screenwriter from "I Hear Your Voice", and same director from "You Who Came From the Stars". I'm interested but i'll wait for some feedback on Suzy's acting

Also, not a bad start, tbh.
