This was so good! The story, the millennium backdrop, the 90s feel and nostalgia really hit the right spots. The soundtrack is phenomenal! The opening reminds me of Good Omens. The actors on the other hand did an awesome job too! Everything was so heartfelt and genuine, you just have to adore those misfits! Oh and the pacing is just perfect! Only downpoint for me: Cha Eun Woo's acting. I really wish he'd stop being so woody and forced in his facial expressions. You can see how much he wants his character to look cool and mysterious. He would look so much better if he'd widen his facial expressions.
I wish he would stop being just a pretty face and start acting! I really do think he has potential, but all the roles I've seen him in were the same handsome, cool, mysterious and shut down guys! He could so much better if he would use his facial expressions more!
The first and last two episodes could have been better. The villians were too one dimensional in the end. But boy, did I enjoy this series! It's funny, cute and so heartwarming. The supporting characters totally did steal the show and the bickering between them all was the cherry on top!
This was such a light, heartfelt and fun thing to watch! It had it's lenghts in between, and some plotholes, but I loved all the different relationships between the characters.
I wished they had explained Si Yeol's thoughts a lot earlier as his actions in the later episodes were kinda out of the blue if you hadn't read the Webtoon beforehand. I loved the chemistry in the second half and the more emotional and goofy scenes. Really made the main actors shine!Though I knew it's a KDrama, I wished they would have been bolder with a few scenes; but I enjoyed it a lot nevertheless!
