while overall its a decent ending, dai and jane were pretty cute, its was rushed. we got to see dai's freinds a couple of times but zero with janes friends. the time skip was pretty damn abrupt . i do hope these girls get another series tho, with a higher budget and longer more mature story. also the height difference is adorable

some of the translations dont make sense, like referring to female characters as he, some misspellings and roughly translated sentences. iqiyi usually has really good professional level subs, so it was weird seeing this here,

while i do agree they could really pull something out with this like the series "us" and pluto. i just dont trust the direcotr and writers for this show, while i did enjoy denied love it being so similar in the basically a porn story element concerns me, also enjoy and june dont look significantly different in age either. i do hope they change a good chunk and havily focus on story and plot. one of the few things that did piss me off about the book was chat basically sexually assulting nan and that was pretty much never adressed, especially with nans history, it should have been

i was really starting to like this show but the passing is all over the place these last 2 episodes. things were super slow from 1-5 to the point of like lingering shots could have been cut out, and now things are happening so fast with little context between shots.

Having finished most of the book now. Yeah idk how they are gonna make this, if they stick with the book it would basically be porn. Well over half the novel is just pure smut. They would need to incorporate new plot elements to make this even remotely have some form of plot for a show
