Yeah it's China, not HK my bad. It doesn't seem to be very well known, but it has two seasons and is called Let's Go Watch The Meteor Shower. It's on Viki if your interested.

your right it was a japanese manga, then movie waaaay back in the day, then a T-drama, then a J-drama and it was even remade in Hong Kong I believe before it got turned into a K-drama. So BOF is faaaaar from the original.

I've been telling the drama producers who live in the fake Japan in my head (lol) to do a Japanese remake/ update of Itazura Na Kiss FOREVER! Looks like they finally decided to listen! lol I never expected that AND a new Miura drama too lucky me :) I've been waiting for him to do a new drama forever! Plus a new movie with Sato in it WOOT Woo! 2013 looking promising so far. But I agree with PrettyBrown_Eyes about wanting to see Sato in a new drama as well, but I'll take so take the movie! :)

The movie is cute, light and fluffy! If you're a fan of Ella and/ or Mike and have some time to watch a cute romcom then you'll enjoy this. Plus the little sister is really adorable and the music is really good! :)

I love Horikita Maki! She's been one of my favorite Japanese actresses since Hana Kimi, where I first saw her. With every new drama/ movie I see her in I love her more and more. She definitely has her own charm that makes people love her. Good article because well, you had a good topic! :)
