Yessss her being the wind made so much more sense and the dress is so beautiful. I have a feeling they will cut ChangYi becoming frozen which I dont mind for a drama adaption esp when those who havent read the novel might think its too much because we just went through Yunhe's death.
Still sad abt them not doing the under the sea moment but like you said I hope they replace it with a even better scene with it.

I dont think it will be rushed if they did cut some parts of the novel out, if they have the final battle on the last episode that actually makes sense because not a lot happens after it (according to the novel), its a lot more relaxed and fitting for a drama ending. Also seems like ChangYi will find out who Aji really is in the next episode so they're making progress.

I have read the novel 4 times and loooove it. There are changes but overall it has kept the main plot of the novel, the changes didnt bother me at all. The addition of certain characters did though lol but it doesnt make me wanna stop watching, I've been watching it raw but already feel like its followed most of the novel. If they cut some stuff out (like when Chang Yi... you know), I dont mind tbh because I feel like we just lost Yunhe and I would rather watch more scenes of them being happy together and then fight like a bad ass couple in the remaining episodes.

The novel its based on is very heavy, intense and a lot of angst, so much happens that you kinda need to read it to understand why its more tragic.

I was looking forward to this scene for so long and how they would portray it and I think they did a beautiful job. Them adding the "touch it & it'll get better" line there was PERFECT, esp with her still worrying abt him hurting than her literally dying. The pearls being everywhere too, I like that they made it red as to signify it as his most heartbreaking moment. Cant wait for him to find out shes Yunhe already, seems like they could be cutting things out and picking up the pace.

Are you talking abt when he picks her up from Luoluo's arms? I noticed it straight away, I was like "wow hes strong" but then I was hoping they did a closeup shot because I didnt think it was real at first haha of course I shouldnt be surprised Dilraba is so skinny, even I'm sure I can lift her myself.

The specific moment she died, I didnt cry because I was too absorbed into the acting and was just admiring how well they expressed that scene and how beautiful it looked (my heart was def hurting tho). I finally cried when they showed all of the cast one by one being emotional after her death esp Chang Yi.

No Aji is not just for her male form but her official name once she was reborn because Lin Haoquing wanted to give her a fresh start but then she regained her memory when she entered the sea with ChangYi (someone correct if I'm wrong tho). So once she regained her memory she basically became herself again as Ji Yunhe.

Im on the opposing side of your disapproval because im enjoying her being sick haha its a pivotal moment leading up to her death. I feel like if it went too fast then the plot wouldnt be able to set any deep emotions within the audience and truly understand both Chang Yi and Ji Yunhe's pain. I was going through the episodes and its just more screen time on the other characters and esp that stupid fox clan lol maybe thats why it seemed longer to me (her sick phase). The novel though goes way more into depth and makes me appreciate their scenes more and why he chooses to keep her locked up. Keep in mind he really believes she betrayed him and ChangYi still kinda treats her well despite him not knowing her true intentions.

Hes not as huge in China as you think, like general public may not as be informed about him compared to other big names. But he does have a large dedicated fandom like super dedicated hence why they work on his data and are able to get him high on rankings. Hes one of the top TRAFFIC stars.

Ji Yunhe's pain is breaking my heart in the latest episode, our poor baby goes through so much, and to see Dilraba act it out hurts more haha. Dilraba, no words are enough to express how proud I am of her. She's just killing this role, soooo different from what I've seen her do previously and I'm loving it!
