I agree with everything you said! I was absolutely RAGING at the end when they made the FL forgive hm as if nothing happened. Poor girl, she should've left the relationship and reported him to the police
I was really surprised by which dramas made the list. In my opinion most of them had a pretty reasonable ending. What also surprised me was the fact that none of my top three choices were featured, so here they come:
1. Well Intended love - I gave this drama a rating of 2 because it made absolutely no sense that the male lead spent the entire show gaslighting and psychologically abusing the female lead only for them to end up having a "happy ending" as if his psychotic behaviour never existed. Ugh I was RAGING by the end of this one.
2. Oh My Ghostess - I couldn't support the main couple ending up together when the ML only fell for the FL when a ghost with a completely different personality took over her body. The way I perceived it he never loved her for who she was without the ghost.
3. What's Wrong with Secretary Kim - I actually enjoyed this drama but I was sooo disappointed that the FL gave up her dreams and ambitions and just continued working as a secretary without doing the exploring she dreamt of for such a long time.
Okay...wow...this was hard!! So many of my favourite dramas have a rating below 8.6 so I struggled quite a bit when voting.
1. Search WWW - My all time favourite drama! Everyone should watch this, especially those who are looking for something a bit less cliché than the typical k-drama.
2. Encounter - Loved this one so much. I know Song Hye Kyo is often criticized for her blank expressions but in this drama and for the character she played it worked perfectly.
3. Love in the moonlight - How does this cute romance not have a higher rating?! Is it as unique as Search WWW? No. Is it cliché? Yes. Even so it's perfect as a cute, light hearted romance and it definitely deserves a higher rating than 8.2.
Here comes some of my other favourites with a lower rating than 8.5 that I really wish I could've votes for as well. (In the parenthesis you can first see my rating then the rating on MDL) Something in the rain (9.5, 7.9) One spring night (9.5, 8.3) Because this is my first life (9, 8.5)
Also check out Just Between Lovers if you haven't already. It has a rating of 8.6 exactly therefor I couldn't include it in the list, but I think it deserves a rating of 10!!
