yup! rather than agonizing over which drama to put on my queue list, I use a random number generator to pick out a TW drama, a K drama, and a J drama/movie if I have time.

ex. I hit the country button so my to-watch list is organized TW-K-J. I have 36 TW dramas, so I put 1-36 as the parameters for the generator and hit enter. Then it spits out a number, say 17, and I match it up - in this case In Time With You. Repeat for K dramas [so 37-72] and J dramas [73-93]. Once it's on my queue [I try to keep 3-6 on there], I start agonizing over which one to watch. :D

I hope that all made sense...

mmm...well if you don't know how to choose your next drama to watch, use a random number generator. Ie, give it the parameters of 0-your current list number [say 330]. then it will spit out a random number, and you watch that drama! That's what I'm doing at least...lol

Meteor Garden <3 My first drama haha. Agreed - while less shiny and pretty than the Korean one, the acting/plot/chemistry was loads better. Funnier jokes too, and meta humor. Funniest part is the F4 boys were merely picked because of their height and looks, 3/4 turned out to be phenomenal actors with great careers :)

Did you watch his drama with Ella from S.H.E?

Still not worth it haha. Watch Hana Kimi, They Kiss Again, or ToGetHer :) Those were decent/pretty good. I've heard K.O.3an Guo is good too, but I've never watched it.

Lol I'm not one for reading manga much. I tried reading fruit baskets and gave up/dropped it after the third book.

Do not watch absolute boyfriend. I hate to say this but Goo Hye Sun made it a sinking ship. 1. bad acting. 2. no chemistry to make up for bad acting 3. stupid kissy faces 4. terrible dubbing. she didn't even try to speak chinese for the dubbing, but spoke korean instead. I keep trying to make myself watch/recap the last ep but I don't want to do it now that the second lead is pretty much gone. sigh.

MARS is AMAZING. It's an older drama, and there is a "mane-of-glory" style rocked by Vic Zhou :) Don't let it deter you if you're not a fan of long hair on guys, because the acting/story line is...great :) It is pretty dark, and deals with rape/suicide/psychological illness. I started it three years ago and wasn't mature enough [I found it too scary/dark], so I put it on hold. It's not graphic, I just wasn't comfortable with those issues then. I'm really glad I picked it back up however :)

Wow she's 30 o.O I just looked her up on Wikipedia, it doesn't mention anything about her being sick, but the last award/media related news she was in was in 2009. Her blog is still active though [the weibo one], so I'm guessing she's fine :)

haha I powered through ISWAK and TKA because of the cute chemistry, but I agree, Ariel Lin's character was a little to annoyingly dumb for me. I honestly could not believe someone would be that slow/unwavering at times.
