Early congratulations then! :D I'll probably congratulate you at the proper time later too, but I figured an early one doesn't hurt :P
What style of calligraphy do you like best?
Woah. That's sort of mindblowing. Heh, I'm probably going to snicker at any mom and pop shops I see with Ye in it now :P

You're the first person I've met who's watched more TW dramas than me! :) Not that I've watched that many...but most ppl only watch kdramas/jdramas.

Shoot.
You're debunking my theory that everyone in Cali/spent time in Cali calls it tanbark. :(

Makes sense. How close are you to graduating?
Your English teacher sounds like he did a pretty good job keeping the class engaging :D Aw, I bet it was worth it in the end though! Calligraphy is beautiful.
Any tidbits you want to share? =]

Let me ask you this then - what do you call the chips of wood on playgrounds? Tanbark or Barkchips?
It's an ongoing debate between me and my friends :D

HA. You've obviously spent some time in Cali - that's the only place I know that calls bubble tea "boba". I thought it was because it might be the cantonese way of saying it, but wikipedia didn't offer any answers. It did mention however, that McDonalds McCafé locations in Germany are starting to serve bubble tea.

hmm...interesting. I want to check it out now!
I think you would have loved my high school English class. We have a summoner's day, where seniors who received "golden tickets" "summon" the sophomores who then have to recite the prologue of Chaucer. In middle English :D
hm, I wouldn't necessarily consider Harry Potter to be a kids book, because it does get rather dark at times after the fifth book. Have you read the Pendragon series? Dysutopian world, but one of the first series about that subject.

nope. I checked :)
I think you'll like it a lot - it's an oldie but a goodie. Just noticed that you watched a drama called, "I want to become a hard persimmon". Please enlighten me? :)

Are the American and British versions any different? I tried reading the Chinese version of Harry Potter. It was a sad wake up call :( I still hope to be able to read it all one day though :P I read the Canterbury Tales! Wife of Bath is hilarious, and so is the Miller's tale. Haha props to you for reading what most consider "little kid" books. Artemis Fowl is great!
Don't mention it :)

I do however bookmark my favourite tumblrs and check them regularly :)

Hm, same guy who wrote the Camp Half-Blood Series right? Percy Jackson? I read the first two Camp Half-Blood books, but didn't like his writing so much in the second and so stopped. I'm not really sure what genres I like...some of my favourite books include Girl With a Pearl Earring, A Thousand Splendid Suns, Kite Runner, Tuesdays With Morrie, and The Five People You Meet in Heaven. I finished the first Game of Thrones book last week. I'll admit to being a big LDR/HP fan, but didn't really get sucked into this series yet. We'll see though :P
Added them all to my list! :D

I'm okay with snakes, not so much spiders. It's a pretty common dislike, but I really don't like them. I make someone else deal with them for me :P
Did you go all the way to the top? We just went to the highest department store :P

Let me know what you think once you're done! :D Prince turns to Frog is also one of her dramas, it's pretty sweet [nothing new plot wise/character wise] and good for when you just want cute.
Oh! A drama which isn't on your massive to-watch list yet is Black and White. It came out a while ago, and is IRIS/City Hunter-esque [different story line, similar camera styles and sleek packaging].

Stinky tofu is the best! There's actually two kinds, the fried kind and the soft kind [cooked in soup I think?]. I'm a fan of the fried kind :D
Snake Alley is...an experience. I saw one of the venders cutting open a snake, and while disgusting, I honestly couldn't tear my eyes away. Everyone around me acted like it's normal though, so I suppose when it's a part of your everyday life you don't really think twice about it. I think Shilin in Taipei is my favourite night market, but Liuhe is pretty good as well. :D

:D thanks! I like the b/w style btw....seems more poignant and serious about the quotes. The simplicity is nice, and there was one with a rainbow in it [idk which drama/movie] that was really gorgeous :D

Nope! How do you like it so far? I read the synopsis, but nothing really interested me in particular, and even though Fated to Love You is one of my favourite dramas, I'm not a big Chen Qiao En fan [I think her english name is Joe Chen?]. I might give it a try if you like it though :)
