Did they marry in novel? In Drama they showed 2 people taking care of them on Island it looked like younger version of he master? At end of Drama they were living in that same house? Were there love scenes in Novel? So Riyan never leaves them after that? Also when they went to save GELI LXY seemed to remember everything and they had no real power just a little bit. So LXY had regained his memories in Drama? So confusing lol They did not age either? They are humans?

Can anyone explain a breakdown in what happened during Sea Calamity and after. I watched the whole series Express. But I have so many questions. Especially about how the Master came back with the Fox to take them away. Also what happened to them that 10 years on the island. I know they got married. But how could Master tqke care of tgem he was dead. Did he turn back time to be alive again? They had no powers but were they full human now? How did all of this differ from novel. I agree. I think they were using the friend issue to show that Chen Yi is secretly very wealthy and had always intended to give the pool hall to his friend. He was just using it as a front so Zhang Bin thought that he was a lame duck so to speak. But in reality Chen YI has been the WOLF! I agree I was annoyed by Tulis and the friends scenes with his is gf greedy parents.

Here is what I think happened that night where it all ties in. Chen Yi failed a bunch of "loyalty' tests. Their shipments kept getting raided and tax concerns etc, Zhang Bin realized Chen Yi was the rat. There is an exact aha moment actually if you think about it! He gave Chen Yi that watch because everyone knew it. It was gold. Gold does not burn in fire. Chen YI was working for him for the one to pay for her college but I also think he was informing to his cop friend. There was alot of clues and foreshadowing the fiancee was going to die. Chen Yi even got burned by the Tea. I think that is how Zhang Bin caught him. Those briefcases were set ups to find the rat. She bought the tea. Zhang Bin knew that the next day it was all going to come crashing down so he had to destroy the evidence. So he set Chen YI up as the fall guy. He did not know watch was in his pocket though not on wrist. Or that MJ had time stamps forom his texts , her lap top and Internet cafe comuter that would prove his intent and alibi to what he was doing that night. Zhang Bin wanted the watch to identify Chen Yis body after fire. Zhang bin sent him there most likely to drop something off as he was his " ride or die" brother he said that is what I cant figure out. But I do know this Zhang Bin could have known the fiancee worked there and had security access to the building. Chen YI could not get inside the building without her opening the door. She must have been working late. She opened door and he got ambushed. They both got locked inside from the outside and burned the building down to destroy all the evidence. What Zhang Bin does not know is that Chen Yi probably has the ledger and that ledger will bring him down and it will tie in with the Tea and Green Lai etc. Chen YI knows MJ mom bad probably killed his dad etc. But its her mom and did not want to hurt MJ by putting her mom in prison for life. I also think Chen Yi is secretly wealthy and those scars were from surgeries from burns being removed. How could he get out of a fire with no severe burns! I think he tried
desperatelyt to save the cops fiancee but he got rescued because they did not know she was in the building with him. Remember Cop told MJ to get away from buliding he did ot know his fiancee was in burning building.

Another theory I have is that the gold watch was given to him because gold does not burn in fire he was always the sacrifice, It was a poisoned chalice so to speak. He would be identified as arsonist when body found burned. But he survived fire and knew she would not be safe so he sent her away. But he put watch in his pocket. Her laptop and computer at internet cafe and his text is time stamped. So police know he did not do it. I think the fiancee working late in an archive room he tried to save her but could not get to her. I think she will find out he saved her in the river where his mom died. He will have missing buddha statue piece give it back to her as it will complete his heart. The big thing I think will be the TEA I think after all the loyalty tests Zhang Bin gave Chen Yi to smoke out the rat the Tea is what did him in. Remember Chen YI got burned by the Tea? I am not sure I think those scars on his back might be surgical scars from burns being removed or from fighting in underground fighting. She has not seen them yet.
