I really loved the ending. But I would have liked to have scene future bonus scenes like we saw in Sniper Butterfly married with their daughter. Or future scenes as a family with their daughter like in Shine On Me. In the Wold Dog Bone novels bonus chapters they got married and had a daughter. I think I feel like Hidden Love was a great ending but no future scenes with their daughter. I always feel sad when they don't do the future scene. In this drama I think seeing a future scene with their daughter would have really shown Chen Yi happy with a family. I think they missed that whole happy family montage opportunity.
