I know this comment is basically half a year old buttt I feel compelled to reply still 😭. There was an interview done with the cast and the interviewer asked the director the same question! He said that the title was supposed to bring attention to the contrast between the setting and the subject matter of the movie. Having the backdrop of the movie be the beautiful tranquil Jeju island whilst all this blood and gore takes place makes for a noticeable clash

Man is so underrated. Handsome as hell and his voiccceee. He's such a talented actor and steals every scene he's in. Definitely needs to be casted more with larger roles -would love to see him in a romance for a change.
